Nick and Charlie one shots

Coming out

"Bye Tao!" Charlie shouted as he walked towards his bus stop. It had been great since nick and Charlie's first kiss at Harry's birthday party and then their beach trip we're they officially became boyfriends they were together all the time; if you see Charlie nick would not be far behind and if you saw nick Charlie would be right by him.
Tonight nick had invited Charlie over for dinner.
Nick had left school earlier on in the day to go to a dentist appointment but what he hasn't told Charlie was that he had come out to his mum after. Nick was scared, not of his mum his mum was the most loving person he had met. He doesn't really know why he was scared though because Sarah had hugged him and told him she loved him over and over.

sitting at the dinning table with his mother both of their cups of tea now cold , nick still wanted to tell his mum Charlie was his boyfriend. He got so caught up in all the crying and hugging he hadn't had a chance to tell her.

'Knock, knock.' Nick froze he knew who was at the door. He was glad Charlie was here but he had hoped he would get to finish talking to his mum and then talk to Charlie.

When Charlie finally left his house after getting changed and remembering to bring his homework he was practically skipping to nicks house he loved spending time with him. He is probably his favourite person.
Standing at nicks front door waiting to be let in after he had knocked he didn't want to knock again, he didn't want to be annoying.

"Umm, I umm think that's Charlie." Nick said not getting up from his seat just looking into his hands on his lap. Nick didn't see Sarah's face light up at the boys name. Sarah has suspected for a while something going on with her son and the boy. Now nick had come out to her this just boosted her mother instincts. "Oh ok do you want me to answer it ?" Sarah asked. Nicks head shot up. " umm can I just , umm can I just go out side quickly I need to speak to him first." Nick said eyes starting to water. Sarah nodded knowingly. " of course Nicky, whatever you need to do." Sarah said standing up with nick hugging him before he opened the door.

"Hey" Charlie said when nick opened the door.
"Hey" nick replied whilst closing the door behind him.
Charlie furrowed his eyebrows "oh um are you busy I can just go." Charlie said going to turn around. " wait um no I just wanted to talk first." Charlie tried not to let his anxiety get the best of him but obviously nick could tell something was wrong. " um it's not bad it s just um, just that I came out to my mum," Charlie raised his eyebrows in surprise. " and Um she was great about it but I didn't get a chance to tell her that your my boyfriend and I was going to but then you arrived and yeah um." Nick still had tears in his eyes so Charlie stepped forward and wiped his tears away. " nick it's ok you just came out to your mum that's huge I'm so proud of you, but you don't have to tell her about us if you don't want to." Charlie said taking nicks hand in his own. Nick looked down at their hands. "Yeah um I want to tell her about us, we could do it together?" Nick asked looking into Charlie's eyes. Charlie was smiling from ear to ear. "Yeah ok, ok are you sure?" Nick nodded. "Yeah." Nick Hugged Charlie trying to ground himself before going back inside.

"Hey mum?" Nick called out when Charlie has finished taking his shoes and coat off. Their hands still locked together, nick walked into the kitchen with Charlie. " hey boys I was just making some- " Sarah looked down at their hands and smiled. "Tea"
"Thank you mrs nelson." Charlie said taking a seat with nick sitting down next to him. " hey um mum can we talk?" Sarah silently handed out the cups of tea and sat down taking a sip of her tea. She looked at nick hinting for him to speak. "Me and um me and Charlie are um boyfriends, Charlie's my boyfriend." Nick said Charlie squeezing his hand lovingly under the table. " oh Nicky thank you for telling me." Sarah said standing up and hugging her son. " come on love you too." She said waving her hand towards Charlie to join the hug.
After they had all calmed down and seated them selves at the table again. Sarah thought Nick looked more himself than she had ever seen. They were all smiling and laughing whilst Sarah plated their dinner. Sarah asking for the details , nick getting embarrassed and Charlie just being insanely happy and proud of his boyfriend.

(I am honestly so sorry for being quiet for a while but I have been supper busy with acting classes and my art course and work have been kicking my but 😭🤣 but anyway I hope you enjoy this it's not the best because I am super drained but yeah ❤️)
