"In Greek, you don't really say "I miss you."
You say " Mov λείπεις,"
which is closer to
"You are missing from me."

My eyes fly open at the sound of my sisters screams then the night's cold air hits me. The snow burst into the room and a gigantic beast with golden fur stands in the doorway snarling.
My body reacts before my mind can, I am now standing protectively in front of Feyre with my dagger gripped tightly in my hand.

Studying the beast and taking in his features, I know it isn't a martax.  The relief is short lived as I take in the creature's size. It's as large as a horse.
His head is distinctly wolfish with curled horns while his body is feline. It is no doubt that this beast is a faerie, no creature like that lives below the wall. As I quickly take in his black dagger like claws and sharp yellow fangs.
Yup he defiantly can kill me with those.

I don't allow any fears to enter my mind, not even when my heart feels like it might explode based on how fast it's beating. The only thought screaming in my head right now is the same it's always been.

I have to protect my family.

Our bow and arrows are past the beast along with the ash bow. In order to get in I would need to get by him and buy me or Feyre enough time to fire it.

"MURDERERS!" the beast roared,
the ends of his fur standing straight up.

Faerie. Defiantly a Faerie.

I dared a glance over my shoulders. My sisters screamed, kneeling against the wall of the hearth, my father crouched in front of them.
Their screams fuel my anger, I need to get them out of here far, far away from him.

My eyes trained on the beast as I take a step closer keeping the table between us. If I can buy Feyre enough time to get the bow and arrow she might be able to kill it.
I don't know if he will kill me first but I know I won't go down without a fight. I have to try.
