I wanted to be with you
With every ounce of my being
Craved your touch, kisses, and embrace
I longed for the day your eyes landed on me
Begged for you to see all that we could possibly be
Instead...you found her
She intoxicated you with every move
Her kisses were like vodka moistening your lips
The touch of her fingers were like cigarettes on an ashtray
She was your new addiction
I watched from a distance
My heart held on a string
Hoping that maybe, just maybe
You would find me in the cloud of smoke
But the fog is too thick
