She has blonde hair
Sun-kissed and gleaming
Her eyes as blue as the ocean
Captivating
Drawing you in
Yet just out of your reach
A goddess who has you
On your knees
Worshipping her every breath
Bending at her every whim
Like a slave dominated by their master
You'd lay down your life
To be caught
Like a deer in headlights
In her line of vision
She is who you want
She who stands tall
Beautiful
Magnificent
Unmoved
Confident
She is what you crave
What you strive to hold in your embrace
But
As you walk towards your every hope and dream
Please look down
For I have black hair
Dark as the shadows
Brown eyes
Deep as the earth you walk upon
I am battered
As she
The endless sea
Erodes my very soul
Stripping the other half of me away
But nobody loves dirt beneath their shoes anyway
