When everyday the words of others are like knives
Repeatedly stabbing you
When the words coming out of your mouth
The "I'm fine"s and "It's okay"s
Taste like poison on your tongue
When the cracks in your facade
Are shards of glass piercing your skin
That smile you try to keep up
Dangles from a measly thread
When your eyes are glazed
With tears you don't dare to let fall
How do you live when you feel like dying
When the one person you need most
Isn't there to help pick up the pieces with you
When they're too busy to listen to you
Screaming through the other end of the text message
How do you live when you feel like dying?
When nobody is there to save you
