I was reading as always while they were trying to look for the exit while Dwayne was upset and laying his head on lap, He tapped my book suddenly which made me look down at him

"What's wrong? Are you still upset?" I ask him with concern and he just shakes his head

"I just want to thank you for comforting me." He said smiling before sitting up just to kiss me which made me smile after the kiss

"It's alright, you really needed it anyway" I told him

"There! There's our hotel! Little miss sunshine!" Olive says in a delighted tone

"Don't worry Olive we're gonna make it, we're gonna make it" Richard assures Olive while I smile when suddenly he passes the hotel when they started screaming again, this is gonna be one hell of an entrance to that hotel.

We got in the parking lot in a way that's very illegal and we're currently rushing while I find the situation really fun so I just hold Dwayne's hand

"Brace yourself, love" I whisper to him while he smiles a little,

"Oh it's a dead end!" Sheryl shouts while we go in circles and suddenly we were pretty much driving recklessly which I found very hilarious which tossed Dwayne and I in the backseat all around like we were frisbees being thrown all over and finally we came to a full stop and Frank broke the door open and started running which made me laugh even more and at this point I was like I was a witch cackling loudly
while Dwayne was only smiling

"Let's go, we need to" I say to him while catching my breath from laughing

"Wait, I want to tell you something before we go." Dwayne says so I look at him and he just kisses me and obviously in response I kiss him back delightfully and after a few minutes we pull out of the kiss

"Let's stop sucking each others faces and go to support Olive ok?" I joke while catching my breath a little while he just holds my hand and we walk into the hotel together.

I look at the two kids with sparkly dresses run by us before rolling my eyes knowing that this pageant sucks

"Let's get out of here" Dwayne says while looking at me and Frank but he says no so Just me and Dwayne I guess.

"Sometimes, I wish I could go to sleep until I was 18" Dwayne says while breathing out so I look at him smiling

"Me too honestly but you'll miss growing up, you'll miss high school and you'll miss all the crazy shit that happens in high school!" I point out shouting a little at the last part

"I'll miss you and Olive too" Dwayne says while looking at me, finally smiling

"You know what? Fuck beauty contests, life is one beauty contest after another you know? Shool and then college and then work!? Fuck that! and fuck the AirForce Academy. If I want to fly, I'll find a way to fly. You gotta do what you love and fuck the rest" Dwayne exclaims before looking at me

"Yeah, you're right." I reply to him

"I wish sometimes people would dissapear but if they would, I would've never met you. We're two idiots! Two absolute-complete-total -fucking idiots!" I add screaming the last part before smiling and looking at him seeing that he's smiling too.

"I love you, Jamie" He says as I put my arms around his neck

"I love you more." I answer before kissing him and pulling away after a few seconds

"Oh damn it, I didn't think this would make me this nervous but.. Miss Jamison, Would you like to be my girlfriend?" He asks me while I look at him with my eyes widened

"Oh my god yes! Yes Dwayne I would love that!" I answer shocked while I hug him for a few minutes

"Let's go?" He asks me while I nod, What a big turn of events.
