I woke up because of Dwayne who was nudged me gently to wake me up and so I did and I saw that Frank was already up and packed so I got ready too,

We were putting in the stuff and so when I put in my bag I just grabbed a book and my headphones to distract myself from the others.

We all get and I notice that Dwayne has a book too

"Whatcha reading?" I ask him while he shows me the cover which had neistzche's face and I nod and open my book to read and rest my head on Dwayne's shoulder.

. . .

The trip was slow and it consisted of everyone having silence, Dwayne checking on me and asking if I was alright once and awhile, Olive bopping her head to music and grandpa's loud snoring.

"I'm tired, I'm so fucking tired." Grandpa suddenly states therefore breaking the silence and making me and Dwayne look at him

"Do you know how tired I am? if some girl would beg me to fuck her, I couldn't do it. That's how tired I am" Grandpa outragously adds

"Dad uh, watch the language ok?" Richard says making me close my book in curiosity to how this will go

"She's listening to music, Olive I'll give you a million dollars if you turn around!" Grandpa says to see if Olive can hear the conversation and she didn't turn around meaning she was busy listening to music

"See?"

"Alright well, the rest of us"

"Oh the rest of you"

That was the conversation before grandpa turned to us and nudges the both of us

"Can I give you two some advice?" Grandpa asks as we both turn to look at him and shaking our heads signaling no

"Well, I'm gonna give it to you guys anyway" Grandpa adds

"I don't want you making the same mistakes I made when I was younger" Grandpa adds more
"Here we go, can't wait to hear this" Richard braces himself to hear what Grandpa will say and atleast he's not the only one.

"Dwayne and Jamie, those are your names right? Dwayne and Jamie?" Grandpa asks as I just put my head on Dwayne's shoulder

"This is the voice of experience talking, are you guys listening?" Grandpa asks before continues, here we go

"Fuck a lot of people you two and not just one person, a lot of people" Grandpa exclaims and talking to Dwayne before arguing with Richard which I thank Richard for saving my ears but I grab my headphones before hearing any other weird but funny things Grandpa has to say.

I feel the bus stop so I open my eyes and I feel a hand put my head back down and it was Dwayne and so I look at him

"Why did we stop?" I ask him before he pointed outside to show a diner, We were now reading the menu while I was looking at food under four dollars because Sheryl said so.

"Hi, you ready?" the waitress asks us and so we order

"I have the uh number five coffee please" Richard says

"I'll have grapefruit juice please" Sheryl says next

"I would like the fruit plate and a tea of chamomile" Franks says while Dwayne showed me his notepad

"He would like a garden salad and I would like waffles please" I say including Dwayne's food while the Grandpa and Olive orders

"What does a la modey mean?" A question from Olive made me curious as to what it meant
