I woke up to sunlight burning through my eyelids and the smell of bacon wafting up my nose. I sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, looking for the source of the amazing scent. Monty wasn't in bed so I shuffled into the kitchen and there he was in the frilly apron I had left behind when I was running away right before I was caught. I held in my laughter for as long as I could but all too soon I had to let it out, rolling the floor with tears streaming out. He turned around and saw me on the ground clutching my stomach and shook his head, going back to cooking.

"So today is the big day! What color do you want to do your hair? I was thinking bright green contacts to cover your beautiful grey eyes darling." I nodded my head once I had gotten my breath back from my laugh attack.

"That sounds great! I always wanted to have green eyes, ever since I was little. How soon can we go?" I squealed. "As soon as we've both had breakfast and are dressed." He chuckled then slid a plate in front of me and I gobbled it down, loving the taste of warm food again. After I finished I went and got into some of the clothes I left behind in my room. After rummaging I found some high waisted shorts and An open back neon green crop top that I paired with black high-top converse. This outfit made me so ebullient that I did a little happy dance into Monty's room. He was walking out as I was walking in so we ran into each other and we fell in a tangled mess . I blushed and tried get up but fell back down . He slowly stood up, pulling me up with him. I nervously tucked a stray piece of hair and looked down.

"Sorry about that, I didn't know you were leaving the room. Are we ready to go? I just want to erase this part of my past." I started mumbling at the end, looking back up into his hazel eyes. Monty nodded and turned to walk out the door with me following like a kid going to a candy store. I couldn't wait to be a new person. We walked down stairs and clambered into the car and started driving to the store. In record time, I think he was a bit excited, we got to a beauty supply open to the public and walked in. I giggled and ran over to the wall of hair dyes, squealing and staring at all the options before me. What if I bleached my hair and dyed it blue or purple? Maybe even neon green?!?!?! I whipped around to look at Monty with puss in boots eyes.

"What color do you want to do?" I shrieked with excitement and began rambling all the ideas I had.

"Slow down and tell me the way you want it done most." Monty stopped me before I could confuse him further.

"Well I really like the idea of light purple with dark blue coon tails. Could you pull that off?" I asked with hope very obvious in my voice. He thought about it for a bit then nodded with a bright smile spreading across his face. I screamed in excitement then stopped and apologized to anyone that was around us.

"Now go pick a few different pairs of color contacts and then we'll go get started on your hair. The purple with be bright but after washing it a couple times it'll fade out to a lighter color. Then we'll do the coon tails. Sound good?" I nodded and wandered off to find the contacts, thinking about what colors to choose. Maroon would be cool, and I clearly need violet to match my name and hair, bright blue would be exotic too. Oh the things I could do with different eyes!!! I could have a different accent for each color. Ok cat eye contacts are in order as well. I walked up to the case and a teenage boy with a name badge walked over with a smile that scared and enticed me a little.

"Hi! Are you interested in some color contacts today?" I nodded and listed off all the colors I wanted and a couple impulse buys. He seemed very surprised by how many I picked. Monty walked over with the hair stuff and his eyes visibly widened at my stack of contacts. I just looked innocently at him and he rolled his eyes and nodded, giving into my adorableness. I giggled again and we all walked up to the checkout and I was bouncing on the balls of my feet as he paid for everything. I carried one bag and Monty carried the other two to the car and we threw them in the trunk before getting into the car and driving to Chipotle to get some nom noms. We parked and I skipped in with Monty right behind me to get a table. While waiting for our food we played the question game to get to know each other better. We may have been roommates but he was always working during the day and I was secretly meeting with Grey at night so we never really saw each other. Turns out we had a lot in common, like we both loved purple and Duffy. Concerts were a favorite past time as well as going to fancy parties. I started to wonder how I had never in the short amount of time we were roommates, didn't realize we had so much in common.

Our food came and we ate quickly, ready to change my appearance already. The drive back was quiet but not an awkward quiet, but more so a peaceful quiet. The moment we got back I sprinted inside and changed into old, ratty clothes that would be ok to get dye on. While Monty was putting on his hair dying clothes I set up a chair and some old towels to keep the bathroom clean. He walked in while I was smudging petroleum jelly on my face, neck, and ears to prevent the dye from staining my skin. He rubbed some on his arms and anywhere the gloves wouldn't cover. We sat down and got to work. A while later Monty stepped back to look at his handy work.

"The purple faded and all we need to do is dry it and put the dye on for the coontails. Are you ready? You don't get to see it until we finish it all." Monty used a hair dryer and a towel combination to get my hair dry in no time. He finally put on the rest of the hair dye and put on the timer for 30 minutes. We sat in the bathroom and did nothing, making random sounds occasionally, but other than that we didn't do anything. I was super frustrated with all this waiting but I knew it would be worth it in the long run. The timer went off and I went and leaned over the tub to make rinsing easier for Monty. He dried it and handed me a mirror to see how it looked. I almost dropped it when I tackled him in a hug because of how well it came out. By the time we finished it was already dinner time and we were starving. I offered to order Domino's and Monty grunted a reply that I was hoping meant yes because I did anyways.

"Domino's pizza, what can I get for you?" the worker answered the phone with a bored, I don't want to be here but I need a job so I can have money, voice.

"Hello, I would like one large half pepperoni half hawaiian pizza and one medium cheese pizza. Also an order of crazy bread and two large mountain dews. That's all thanks!'' I listed into the phone with a strong British accent.

"Is that for pickup or delivery?"

"Delivery would be much appreciated thank you."

"Someone will be there in thirty minutes or less. Thank you for choosing Domino's, have a good day." I hung up and went to sit on the couch with Monty and noticed he was skyping Grey. I stood behind him and made funny faces until he told me he could see me in the screen. I then sank down and crawled around to sit on his lap. Grey gave us a questioning look before finally noticing my new look.

"O-M-G-O-S-H GUUURRRLLL YOU LOOK HAWT WITH A CAPITAL H!!!!!!" I giggled and waved before laying my head on Monty's shoulder and falling asleep. I woke up to movement and looked around, noticing I was being carried to Monty's bedroom. I just fell back asleep, exhausted after my day of transformation.
