That night in the common room, I was working on the monster potions essay Snape had set, all the teachers seemed to be cracking down already. Something about being fully prepared for our O.W.Ls.
My quill was scratching away on the parchment, as I mindlessly rambled about moonstone, my attention being drawn by Draco Malfoy.
"How is it, Draco?" simpered Pansy Parkinson. "Does it hurt much?"
"Yeah," said Draco, putting on a brave sort of grimace. "Beast nearly took my arm clean off."
I rolled my eyes. It was probably the 15th time he'd said it in the last hour and I was ready to give him something to actually complain about.
"Oh for Merlin's sake Draco!" I got up and walked toward him. "Would you fucking shut up about your stupid fucking arm."
He looked at me eyes wide, and then cleared his throat, "What you gonna do about it Imogen?"
"Nothing, just fucking shut up. Some of us have actual work to do you know, and your whining isn't exactly relaxing is it?"
He looked offended.
I began to turn around to go back to my work, but spun back around again, "Oh and let me know if I need to replace you on the team."
He jumped out of his seat. "What?!"
I let out a sigh. "Let me know if I need to find another chaser, as you're obviously too hurt to play."
"No I'm not!" He squealed. Clearing his throat, he went on, "I mean, the season doesn't start till October so I'll be fine by then."
"Yeah Yeah, whatever, let me know" I said and headed back over to my work table.

I returned to the common room one evening after a particularly intense training session, (Which Draco had still not attended) cold and stiff but pleased with the way practice had gone, to find the room buzzing excitedly.
"What's happened?", I asked Daph as Addy clambered through the entrance behind me.
"First Hogsmeade weekend," said Daph, pointing at a notice that had appeared on the battered old bulletin board. "End of October. Halloween."
"Excellent," I said, "I need to visit Zonko's. We need nearly a full restock."
"We?" Addy said, raising one eyebrow skeptically.
"What you don't know won't hurt you," I said tapping my nose. "Prefects of Hogwarts should uphold the rules."
He stuck his tongue out.
I winked.
"Immy," Daph said quietly as we made our way up to the entrace hall, on halooween morning. "Addy asked me to go to Puddyfoot's with him." I stared at her, not comprehending. "So.... You're going to be ok? On your own I mean?"
"OH" I exclaimed. "Of course, I'm going Zonko's with the boys anyways." She smiled and ran over to Addy, giveing him a quick kiss on the cheek.
I turned away from them, looking for the red hair, that always towered above the crowd. Spooting them in the courtyard, I quietly made my way over.
Tapping Fred on the shoulder, as I slipped past to stand next to George.
Fred's head whirled around as he looked, for the culprit.
"Immy!" He said, finally catching sight of me.
"Gotcha" I said with a smile. "We going or what?"
"yeah... yeah we are" He said, and we linked arms as we made our way down the winding road to Hogsmeade.
