Slytherin Weasley

Chapter 6

I scrambled out of bed and pulled on my muggle clothes, tucked my wand behind my ear and locked Alpha in his cage. Grabbing my trunk I pulled it  down the stairs and out of the common room.

"You missed Breakfast so here" Daph said and chucked me a pumpkin pasty.

"Thanks." I said and continued up the stairs and out of the dungeons. Once in the entrance hall, I spotted Fred and George on the other side of the hall chatting away with Lee. Pushing my way through the crowd, I made my way over to them, dragging Daphne with me. 

"Hey Guys" I said 

"Hey" They all said in return

"So... We made it, We are technically 2nd years now"I said and they all cheered as the first carriage came to a stop outside the door. We walked down the steps and climbed on to a carriage, hauling our trunks on to the back. Alpha hooted indignantly as I placed him next to my trunk on the back of the carriage.

"I'll let you out when we get on the train" I told him and then clambered on to the carriage, to sit in between Fred and George. Daph and Lee sat opposite each us, as far apart as the seat would allow. Daph was muttering about having to sit next to a Gryffindork that I wasn't related to and Lee just looked uncomfortable.   

"Right, so Dahp this is Lee Jordan, he'll be spending the same two weeks at the Burrow you will so I would like you to get along. It's not that hard, he's like another version of us." I said and gestured at Fred, George and I as I spoke. Daph looked over at Lee, sizing him up for a while until she asked,

"What's your blood status? Because I'm sorry but I will not shake hands with a muggle born. I was raised with standards." 

"I'm a pureblood, no need to worry, and I respect that you called them 'muggle borns' instead of that filthy word. You know I beat up Flint because of that, he called that hufflepuff girl, Mia Smith, one and I snapped, You know?" Lee said

"Yeah, I put Montague in the hospital wing because he called me a sissy Gryffindor blood traitor, so I hexed him" I said and shrugged when George gave me and incredulous look "He deserved it."

"He did" Daph agreed and we came into Hogsmeade station. I jumped out of the carriage and grabbed my trunk of the back and hauled it over to the train. Lee then helped me lift it on and into a compartment. I hopped of again to grab Alpha's cage and put him on the seat. Fred and George came on next with Fred's trunk and then Daph and Lee with Daph's trunk. Once all of our luggage was loaded we sat down in our seats and I ate my breakfast.

As the train began to build speed and we left Hogsmeade station I opened the window and let Alpha out telling him to go home, as Fred det up a game of exploding snap for us to play. The trolley witch came by at about 1pm; Daph and Lee bought a load of chocolate frogs for us to share and a packet of bertie botts every flavour beans that we had a lot of fun with. I got buttered popcorn, mango, roast beef, curry and mushroom. Not a bad lot seeing as George got vomit and gravel and Lee got dirt and Earthworm. Daph got Mouldy cheese and Fred simply refused to eat any. I got Salazar Slytherin on my chocolate frog card and swapped my Agripper for Lee's Armando Dippet. 

We were discussing school Quidditch when we pulled into King's Cross. Fred and George were talking about being Gryffindor beaters next year and of course I wanted to teach Terence Higgs how to fly in a straight line. It was Lee who interested us though, he wanted to try for quidditch commentator seeing as the last one, Aldrich Jones, just left. Daph just wanted Slytherin to win next year, she said and quote 'that last loss to Ravenclaw was humiliating'. 

Grabbing my trunk and Alpha's empty cage, I jumped off the train and looked around for my family. I saw them standing toward the back of the platform, waving at us. As me made our way over to them, Fred nudged me and said

"You know you have your Slytherin scarf on right?"

"Yeah, I'm showing my House Pride" I said and walked straight over to Mum. "Hi Mum"

"Oh, Immy darling, how are you? I was so worried, Why didn't you tell us?" She said and wrapped me up in a hug.

"Well the whole family is Gryffindor and I was worried that you wouldn't except me" I replied, it seemed really stupid now, to think my own family wouldn't except me. 

"Well that was silly wasn't it dear" Mum said and went to greet Fred, George and Charlie. Once all the greetings had been said Mum turned around and said to us "I do belive you have some people that you wish to introduce to me."

"Oh yeah" Fred said and pushed Lee forward as George said

"Mum this is Lee Jordan, fellow Gryffindor and our dorm mate." Lee gave a little wave and said

"Hi Mrs Weasley"

"Nice to meet you Lee" Mum said as she shook his hand and I pushed Daph forward and said

"Mum this is Daphne Greengrass, fellow Slytherin and my dorm mate." Daph gave a little curtsey and said

"It's nice to meet you ma'am" 

"There'll be none of this ma'am business, Mrs Weasley is fine dear" Mum said and pulled Daph into a hug "Any friend of my baby raven is a friend to the whole family"

"Thank you Mrs Weasley" Daph said and ran off to go and find her parents. Ron was subtily trying to ignore me but Ginny hand wormed her way into my side and took this opportunity to whisper in my ear,

"I thinks its really cool." I smiled at that, she would go places Ginny would. As we walked out of King's Cross and towards the nearest floo, I caught up with Ron and Charlie. They were talking about the sorting at Hogwarts. 

"But what if i'm not put in Gryffindor" Ron was saying  "I know Immy wasn't, but she's special first girl and all."

"Ron you will be fine, Immy made her decision, she talked to me about it last summer. She didn't want to be Gryffindor." Charlie said.

"Yeah, and the sorting hat takes your opinion in to account" I said

"Really?" Ron asked 

"Yes, the sorting hat spent a full 10 minutes trying to sort me and half of that was me arguing with it about not being in Gryffindor." I said to him and clapped him in the back before moving on to Bill's side. "Thank's for what you did."

"Well I couldn't leave my little sis hanging could I?" He said and chuckled "Mum was going spare, I had to do something." 

"Sorry. But Thank you anyway it meant alot."

A/N Right, so I'm not going to write much for the next few years as nothing really happens till her 6th year (Goblet of fire) so i think I'm going to do one chapter for each year so I can get there. Hope this  is okay.   ~Emzzy.
