Y/N SPRANG UP, sitting on her makeshift bed on Henderson's floor. "What?" She groaned, glaring at Dustin who had been nudging her at shouting at her to get up.

"It's shopping time." He replied semi-enthusiastically.

"What do you mean by shopping?" She questioned, rubbing her eyes gently.

"Food delivery." He stated, pushing his hand out for her to grab. Y/N, who was not a morning person, was deeply disturbed by being awoken. She slapped his hand away and got up herself. Wandering her way to the bathroom, she made sure to take her bag with her.

"Steve's on his way!" Dustin shouted brushing off her grumpy mood.

Y/N muttered unintelligibly as she turned on the faucet. She finished up as quick as she could, which was not fast considering her state. Walking out of the bathroom, she looked for the shoes she had tossed to the side the night before. Checking the most visually obvious spots in the room, she soon spotted her left shoe conveniently by the door. Scanning the room there were no signs of her other dark green converse anywhere. She rolled her eyes before reluctantly kneeling down to look underneath the desk in the room. She was met by a lot of dust, and an old pile of comic books Y/N assumed had been already read.

"Oh did you need this?" Dustin asked who suddenly appeared at the door with the right shoe in hand. His unexpected statement startled Y/N, who banged her neck on the edge of the desk.

"And why you waited to ask me this?" She sighed, rubbing her neck to stop the sharp pain. He simply shrugged and placed it next to the other pair.

"Come on your late and they're not even here yet." He stated as Y/N snatched her shoes up and began loosening the laces.

"That doesn't make sense."

"No, what doesn't make sense is how you can still be so grumpy half an hour after you wake up."

"No way I was in there for 30 minutes." She stated in disbelief, Dustin only nodding in response. Before Y/N could retaliate, Steve had arrived saving Dustin from a meaningless argument. He honked repeatedly which was not appreciated by the neighborhood who had just awoken, Y/N and Dustin included.

"We get it!" Y/N shouted even though Steve couldn't hear her. The two of them rushed out of the house and entered the car that contained Max, Robin, and the designated chauffeur Steve. Y/N took the spot on the opposite side, Dustin sitting next to Max.

"Was all the honking necessary?" Dustin asked as they both clicked their seatbelt into place. (wear yo seatbelts kids.)

"It got you out didn't it?" Steve remarked, pulling out of the driveway. Though unsatisfied with his response, she sat back and endured the weirdly tense atmosphere. As they arrived at the supermarket, Max and Y/N were left in the car as the other three scavenged the store. Y/N's focus drifted to Max who was distracted by the music playing through her cassette player. Taking notice of the tape playing she struck up a conversation.

"Kate Bush?" She started, blissfully forgetting how loud the music was. Max had just barely heard her voice, thankfully it was loud enough to grab her attention.

"Sorry?" Max asked, not catching what she actually said. Y/N removed her seatbelt to face Max fully.

"Your music," Y/N stated, gesturing to the walkman which was still playing. Max paused the tape and removed her headphones, resting them on her shoulders.
