"JESUS CHRIST." Y/N groaned, tossing her borrowed bike to the ground. "Just give me a sec."She announced, fanning herself while practically gasping for air.

"Are you okay?" Dustin asked in concern, watching Y/N hunch over.

"You try riding a bike for 7 miles after not using one for months," Y/N explained in between breaths. "Okay, inside." Y/N instructed as she regained her composure. The group listened, ducking underneath the caution tapes. The trailer door creaked open, revealing the trashed trailer. Stuff was thrown around, with the furniture pushed to the side.

"And if my theory is correct..." Dustin started, peering up at the ceiling. Together they stared up at the presumed gate, watching it breathe as if it was alive.

"How the hell are we supposed to reach it?" Erica questioned, tearing her eyes away from the otherworldly portal.

"Uhh..." Dustin mumbled, looking around the room. He spotted a broomstick lying on the carpet. He stepped towards it and swooped it up, holding it up near the base. He moved back underneath the gate. Quickly glancing at his friends, he hoisted it up towards the ceiling. He stabbed through the filament. The film oozed as the color went from pink to brown, signaling its decay. It slowly peeled away, revealing the gray counterpart.

"Hi there." Dustin laughed, as he looked down (or up it's confusing) at the group on the other side.

"Hi." They replied as both parties waved at each other.

"Holy shit, this is trippy." Robin marveled, fixated at the phenomenon.

"Bada-bada-boom!" Dustin exclaimed, dropping the broom on the floor.

"Help us out, yeah?" Eddie suggested, grimacing at the unfortunate environment.

"What can we use as like a landing pad?" Lucas questioned, looking directly at Eddie.

"I guess, my mattress." Eddie answered, shrugging his shoulders. Lucas and Dustin rushed to Eddie's bedroom, tossing his sheets off of the bed. They hauled the matters back into the entry room, tossing them on the ground.

"Those stains are, uh... I dunno what those stains are." Eddie struggled to explain, sheepishly staring at the back of the mattress.

"Mmm." Robin mumbled. Dustin grabbed the sheets they had tossed to the floor and began to tie them together with Erica. As they finished, Dustin bunched it together and hopped onto the mattress.

"Not quite sure how these physics work. But, uh... Here goes nothing." Dustin sighed, tossing the makeshift grope through the gate, grabbing onto the sheets. "There we go. And if my theory is correct..." He trailed off, letting go of the sheets. They watched in awe as the sheets hung without effort. "Abracadabra."

"Holy shit." Max smirked, gazing at the 'rope.'

"All right, pull on it! See if it holds!" Dustin instructed. Robin happily grabbed onto it, testing to see if it could hold her weight.
