"Are you friends with Regulus now?" Remus asked as he grasped Sirius' wrist, who had gotten up to go pick on Snape.

Sirius frowned and then sat back down, turning to James. "When did you become friends with Regulus?"

James chuckled nervously, "I never became friends with him, he just helped me finish my work in detention, s'all,"

Sirius sighed in relief and then grinned at him, "Good,"

Sirius didn't want any of his friends to associate with his brother; he always listened to his parents and beloved in blood supremacy.

Although Sirius and Regulus used to be practically inseparable, it all changed in third year, his second.

Regulus called a passing muggleborn "mudblood", and that made Sirius realize that maybe they weren't so similar with each other.

Remus stood up and stared down at them, "We've all got classes to go to."

"Right," James fixed his glasses and then got up as well.

James strutted into the library, scanning around the room for bright red hair and emerald eyes.

Then he found her, sitting at a table with Alice, her hair pulled up into a tight bun.

"Evans! Oi, Evans!" James wildly waved to her and ran up to her as Madam Pince hissed at him to keep it down.

"Hi, James," Alice waved at him. He waved back at her with a grin then turned back to Lily.

"What do you want, Potter? I'm studying," Lily whispered, putting the bookmark into her book and then closing it.

James put both his hands on the table and leaned closer to look at the book, "I've read that before, it's really good!"

"You enjoy Herbology textbooks?" Lily asked, surprised.

She looked upwards to see James' face right above her, and then bashfully looked back down, blushing slightly.

"Only that one," James responded cheerfully, deciding to not scare Lily away by pointing it out.

"Get to the point already," Lily snapped slightly, pushing her book aside and looking back up at James' smirk.

"I was gonna ask if you could help me with my Charms-" James started, only for Lily to press a finger to his mouth.

"No, I'm busy," Lily said, taking her finger away with a smile on her face, which made James smile.

"Please, Evans?" James asked, knowing she wouldn't budge but asking anyways.

"No,"

James sighed, and then perked up; he could always ask Regulus. He was quite smart and gave James all the help he needed.

James took off, forgetting to bid Lily a goodbye. She watched in amusement as he tripped over his own robes then pulled himself back up.

"Acid Pops!" He exclaimed at the portrait.

Before swinging open, she told him with a raised eyebrow, "You didn't need to yell,"

He climbed into the Gryffindor common room and immediately ran towards the boys dormitory, a few first years staring after him.

Remus and Sirius looked up, confused expressions on their faces as James started to roam around the room, looking for the Marauders Map.

It was a good moon, like James said, and so Remus didn't have to stay in the hospital wing for a while as long as he didn't use up all his energy.
