I looked out at the track, my hands griping the stearing wheel for dear life. I looked around at my two opponents. They were complete rookies by the looks of them. One, I could tell would blow his engine within the first few minutes of the race! That car didn't look like it could take much more.  The other guy looked pretty good but he was sweating buckets and looked like he wanted to pass out. Me on the other hand. I was calm. Lay back on my seat, focusing my eyes as I looked out at the road. "Everyone knows what's at stake correct?" A girl asked walking onto the track in a bikini like outfit. "10,000 dollars goes to the winner. Meaning 20,000 since its 10,000 from each racer to the winner. In addition as always when someone races Mists she will remove her mask if someone beats her. Are the rules clear?" She bikini girl asked eyeing the racers.

We all nodded and I gripped the wheel. I knew I could beat these guys but if I made one wrong move, my mask comes off and my secret is no more. And my secret was something I wasn't yet ready to reveal. The girl motioned me forward on the lines then the guys. We all made our ways to the starting line. The bikini girl raised to flags about her head and then flicked both of them down, a girl behind her, who I didn't see till now shot off a clear round from a gun and I was gone. I sped down the road. The course today wasn't that long. It was small but there were two laps with one place where you had no choice but to drift. I hoped Jace my detailer didn't forget to replace the tired. But I knew he wouldn't forget, his details on my car were always flawless.

I was hitting 120 and the guy who was going to blow his engine was basically on top of my car. Dude really? Then I heard it. There goes his engine! I grinned and took the moment to reach into my glove box and grab a piece of bubble gum and pop it into my mouth.

I looked in my mirrors and seen the other guy catching up. I could tell he'd gotten a late start and already used his boost. Bad choice racing against me dude. I grinned looking back at him in my mirror. We were now on the last lap near the end of the course and he'd caught up with me but I was going to lose him on the drift. Then I was going to press for the boost, even though, honestly I didn't need it. I drifted the corner with ease and then pressed the boost. He was to far behind I couldn't even see him. "Damn. I need a real challenge next time." I said aloud with a smirk.

I crossed the finish line and everyone cheered. I got out of my car and waved to everyone then walked over to the guys I just raced. "That'd be $10,000 from each of you please." I grinned and waited with my hand out. When I felt the cash being placed into my hand I grinned and and walked away. "Thanks!" I called behind me and did a backwards wave.

I walked over to Jace my personal detailer and handed him 9,000. "This should cover the details on my car for this week." I said smiling. He already had more then enough of my money from previous races but he did a amazing job detailing me car I couldn't help but tip him.

"Thanks, I will have the rest of the details done by your next race." He said. "Racing in two days right?" He asked.

"Yes, I'm coming to watch the noobies tomorrow, hopefully. My schedule is getting fairly busy." I explained as I handed him the keys to my car. I walked off and found my 2017 Dodge Charger (in matte black) I used to drive around. I wasn't going to drive my racing car around. You crazy?

I started my car and drove to my house. When I got home I took the keys out of the car and took off my mask and seatbelt. I put my mask under the seat and stepped out of the car. My twin brother Will was way to over protective and would probably have my head if he found out I street race. I walled into the house, setting my keys down and running upstairs to change out of my street racing clothes before my brother seen me.

I changed into sweats and a T-shirt before walking down stairs and plopping down on the couch. I was beat... And it was 9:00pm. I still have homework! Ugh.
