Chapter 5

I'd been a few days since I stayed at that hotel, since then I'd dropped out of school for the time being to get some things packed. And start making arrangements for everyone and everyone's stuff to get moved. I've enrolled Jake, Will and I into a school in Tokyo. With people who spoke English because I know I couldn't learn the language that quickly.

I'd also sold my Charger which was heart breaking. It took me a hour to say goodbye to it but it sold for a good amount of money and I knew the person would take good care of it.

Will and Jake were still in school getting through as much as they could before moving to Tokyo.

Apparently the school was buzzing about why I wasn't in school and where Mists went. Since I haven't been to the tracks to race or watch the noobies race anymore.

People were catching on. Which meant, I needed to move.

And fast.

I'd ordered the plane tickets a few days ago and we were set to leave in a week. Which gave me enough time to look online for a place close to the school I enrolled us in.

I sighed and lied down on the couch in the middle of my box filled living room and put my hand over my face. I was a mess at the moment.

I was wearing my glasses, since I didn't feel like using my contacts, with my sweat pants and a sports bra with my hair up in a messy bun.

I heard a knock on the door and threw myself up from the couch walking over to the door and looking out the small peep hole, I seen Jace and Jake standing at the door so I opened it and went to go lay back on the couch letting them let them selves in not saying a word to either of them for a moment. They knew what to do.

I heard the door shut then foot steps, I soon seen Jace with his head above mine with a idiotic grin.

"What do you to want?" I asked.

Jake shrugged as Jace moved himself from my vision. "Nothing, just coming to see how your doing with everything." Jake said.

I shrugged and sat myself up. "I almost have the whole house packed up. Plane tickets are bought. And I have three houses to choose from." I moaned. "What have you two done?" I asked.

"We have our places packed and ready to go. And to make your job easier I made arrangements for our cars to he taken over in four days." Jace said.

I nodded. "That makes my job alot easier. But we are all going to be carless for a few days. We leave in a week." I sighed. "But I have a idea." I reached for my purse and pulled out four thousand dollars. "Just go buy a junker for a few days to get us all by. Jace, Jake, sell your houses and you will come live here for a bit too."

They nodded. "Alright then."

I sighed. "You guys want to see the houses choices?" I asked hoping they would make the choice on the house easier for me to decide.

"Sure, I got time, where is Will by the way?" Jace asked.

"School, like Jake should be trying to live as normal as possible. I don't want to drag him down in his school work like I'm doing to myself." I said as I grabbed my laptop from the table in front of me.

He shrugged. "I already dropped out there was no point being there when all I was asked about is where you were, and having to hear the damn rumors they are spreading about you." He said as he balled his hand up in a fist. Damn he was pissed off for some reason. I guess the rumors about me and my where I was were getting to him more then they were me. Which was honestly impressive.

I brought up the site for houses on my laptop and showed them my choices that I'd added to my favorites.

One of the houses was a baby blue color, which could honestly be easily changed. The inside was completely beautiful and I was surprised it was in my buget, the carpets where all a maroon color threw the house accept in the dinning room, kitchen, and all four of the bathrooms. Where the dinning room had hard wood that looked fresh and had no scratches, the kitchen had cream colored tiles, and the bathrooms all had something different going on with the linoleum.

The others had almost the same layout, all of them where 2 stories accept the first one that I liked the most. Which had 3 stories and a elevator. Even had two guest rooms besides the main ones which we would all need.

"I like the first one." Jake said as he looked over the third one.

"Me too." Jace said.

I nodded. "Well good because that's the one I liked the most too." I said, "I'm surprised it's in our price range."

They both nodded.

"I guess I will get in contact with the seller tonight. Till then I really need to get behind a wheel for a bit..." I sighed as I closed the laptop and put it on the stand as I got up.

"You guys wanna stay here well I get ready for some good old fashioned practice for my farewell race tomorrow?" I asked.

They both nodded.

I was finally going to be racing Legend tomorrow. To finally settle things with him for now at least. I knew I was probably going to end up seeing him again. He'd find me. He always does. Which is why me and what's left of my family are never safe.

I got out of the shower and walked into my room where I found Jake sitting on my bed. "The hell you doing in my room?" I asked.

"I don't know. I wanted to look around and ended up here. You have a nice room." He said as he looked me up and down.

Mind you. I was only wearing a towel around myself. I looked at him hesitantly. "Uh.. Thanks?" I said as I walked over to my closet and pulled out my leather pants, a white shirt and a leather jacket, also grabbing my Mists mask in the process from my dresser.

"Can I help you with something?" I asked him as I threw my outfit onto my bed and looked over to Jake. Who was just standing ever so innocently by my bed.

He shrugged.

"Mind leaving my room?" I asked.

He nodded. "Well, I would love to stay and see what you have hidden under that towel but I'm a nice guy and would never do that." He said as he left with a fairly creepy grin pasted on his face.

That boy is weird.

When I was all dressed and ready to go I walked down stairs to find the guys on the ground, Jace on top of Jake basically strattling him. I raised a brow at the sight and walked over to grab my car keys. Placing my mask over my face. "Am I intrupting something?" I asked.

Making the both of them jump. "I was just trying to get Jake to give me my car keys back." Jace explained.

"Mhm..." I mumbles. "I don't understand you two." I said as I shook my head and walked out the door.

As I walked out the door I seen someone from the corner of my eye, I raised my arm up to block a incoming swing of the persons arm, or whatever they had in there had but I completely missed, I felt the object hit me, and then all I seen was black.
