Holaaaaa! Okay I am EXTREMELY SORRY for my very late update. I know I promised an immediate update but then I was like NAH IMMA LET MY READERS NOT CARE ABOUT MY PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A CLIFF HANGER because yes that was suppose to be a cliff hanger.. Trust me, I can do better than that! But anywaaay.. Again, I'm really sorry. I got hung up in books and school and ugh. But I'm really excited to write this chapter so I'm going to try really hard to make it fantabulous. ENJOY :)
Disclaimer: Let's all be cheerleaders! WHO OWNS THE M-A-Z-E RUNNER? JAMES DASHNER! JAMES DASHNER! WHO IS HOPELESSLY IN LOVE WITH M-I-N-H-O AND WROTE A FANFIC ABOUT IT? I DID! I DID!
"You need to have neon colors and white so you SHINE!"
"Wha?.."
"SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND!"
"Kat, no..." I suppressed a giggle at my best friend's giddy behavior.
"SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND IN THE SKY!" Kat continued to sing.
"Are those even the lyrics?" I asked her as she frantically searched through my closet. Suddenly I got hit with some random clothes she threw at me.
"Go try them on. Now." Then ushered me into the bathroom.
Once inside, I took in what she wanted me to try on. There were white jeans, one pink and one green sock, and a pink shirt. Oh Lord what have I gotten myself into...
***
No.
No no no.
Kat expected me to wear a bright pink top that cut off just above my stomach? Nuh uh! Nopeity nope nope.
"I'M NOT WEARING THIS IN PUBLIC!" I shouted to Kat.
"OH YES YOU ARE HONEY BUNS!" she screamed back and I could almost hear the grin in her voice.
"BUT KAAAAT!" I whined.
"DO IT YOU BIG BABY!" Ok no need to be mean ms. sassy neon pants.
When I did walk out, Kat had on the exact same thing as me but a green top instead and her hair mostly flipped to one side, in the process of being curled.
"I'll do your hair and makeup in a sec." She said, concentrating on her hair.
"You stole my curler," I told her.
"Oh I'm sorry, I forgot running home and grabbing mine would be much easier," Kat said back with a giggle.
Kat ended up giving me a ponytail that had loose curls and a braid on the side leading to the hair band. She also said glowing makeup looks strange, so we just went for a bit heavier that my average day wear. For once, I actually felt really pretty.
"Alright, are you ready to go chica?" My best friend asked brightly.
Uhm, no. Anxiety, remember? "Yeah, I'm ready."

3/5 of my senses immediately kicked in the second I walked into the building.
See- It was dark, but there were black lights everywhere and some strobe lights flickering around. Plus there were lots of glowing people grinding on each other.
Hear- It was LOUD. The music would blasting and there were also people talking.
Smell- Sweat. A little bit like paint. Musky.
"By the way, I painted the stripes on your shoes so they would glow, it's washable, and those are my clothes but keep 'em." Kat said right next to my ear.
