My husband, Kuya Astrophel, and I entered a private room within the bars and lounges on the cruise ship. Kuya Astro said Kuya Atlas was here, so we decided to check it out.

I couldn’t help but feel amazed—I had no idea that the cruise ship even had a private room within the bars and lounges. It made me realize how grand this place really was. Then my husband told me that the entire cruise ship belonged to one of his friends. He even shared that he invited my parents to come here too. He said he wanted us to have family bonding time, so I could be happy. With my mom just recently returning to us, he thought it would be the perfect opportunity for us to spend time together as a family and enjoy this special moment.

Hearing him say that made something in my stomach do excited flips. I felt this warmth and giddiness that only he could spark. He’s so thoughtful and sweet, always considering what would make me happy. That’s one of the reasons why I love him so much. Even though he doesn’t show it on his face—usually, he has this stern look, his brows knit together whenever he’s in front of others—but whenever he’s with me, he softens.

I smiled at Kuya Yael as we settled on the sofa, with Kuya Forrest and Kuya Atlas sitting beside us. The private room was spacious, filled with guys—naturally, they were all friends of Theodore.

I wasn’t the only woman in the room either; there were other women, some of them perched comfortably on the laps of Theodore’s friends. But none of the friends I knew well had anyone sitting on their laps—especially Kuya Forrest and Kuya Logan. Apparently, the others were on their best behavior because I was here, so they were all acting like “good boys” tonight.

I noticed they were drinking; various kinds of alcohol were spread across the center table, along with dishes served on golden plates, which I guessed were their appetizers.

“Long time no see, Liliana.” I turned to see who was speaking, surprised that someone had called me by name. The voice was familiar, making me even more curious.

I blinked a few times, startled to see the face of the man who had spoken. I never expected to see him after a year.

It was my husband’s older brother, Kuya Theron! The jerk ex-husband of my sister! Wait… ex-husband? They’re really separated, aren’t they? Of course, they are—after everything that happened back then.

May naka upo din sa kandungan niya na babae na naka-suot ng damit na kulang sa tela. Tinatamad siguro ang nag tatahi ng damit niya. Halos wala ng takip ang dibdib niya sa suot niyang pagitaas at halos kita na din ang singit niya dahil sa suot niyang sobrang iksing short.
