“It's the young ladies' birthday today!” The maids exclaimed as they decorated the estate, Two young girls were still sleeping on the bed holding each other's hands, The younger sibling opened her eyes to see her twin sister smiling at her. “Y/N happy birthday!” She said excitedly.

You giggled as you hug her so suddenly, “Happy Birthday to you Irin!” You said, “Well let's go prepare we will have a big big big celebration in the mansion and many people will come!” Irin said and you nodded along with her, Irin's maid got in as she greet Irin with a greeting. “Happy Birthday Lady, Irin!”

Irin thanked her maid but she also stopped. “Rei. it's Y/N's birthday too why don't you greet her?” Rei only looked at you with disgust greeting you blandly which made you look away. “Right, princess let's freshen you up!” Irin looked at you. “Rei.. can't I bring Y/N?” Rei shook her head.

“Ah, sister! I-I'm fine you go ahead..” You said, Your sister was hesitant but she and her maid got out you were just about to go outside when you heard, “Is lady Y/N awake? Sometime later the banquet started, and the two of you were about to go in but your father stopped you. “Dear, you can't come out. The people only know your sister.” You were taken back but you nodded as you left to go to an area where no one would recognize you.

The sounds of woos and joys echoed in the estate; Your sister was the center of attraction and you also wanted them to know that she too has a sister, that it was your birthday.

You saw your sister maid approaching you which made you uncomfortable she handed you a cupcake... “Miss Rei.. what is this?” You asked. “Are you dumb? Eat it. If Miss Irin didn't tell me to give this to you I wouldn't bother.”

You carefully ate the cake, and the maid lets out a smirk secretly.

You open the door to your home as you saw the person who raised you alone, hands on her hip in the kitchen tasting her soup, “Y/N? Are you home?” She exclaimed.

“Yes, mom! Here I got some goods while adventuring!” You smiled at her, she must not know that half of these were stolen. You just wanted to help her with the food you eat daily but because of the said curse, you were too afraid to get a job afraid of what consequences it may lead to the establishments you are working. Most of the time you were out for an adventure.

You had a tough childhood. It wasn't the best but your ‘mom’ gave you everything even when you were poor and she was alone, It was ironic since she was a stranger to you. But your blood relatives abandoned you when you were just six years old.

Heizou sighed. “No. I'm afraid there wasn't any clue about his whereabouts now Ms. Irin.” Irin gave him a painful smile, “I see thank you..”

“Well maybe try looking in your way next time?” You heard a male voice speak, “I'm sorry.” You said as you picked up the groceries, the man only looked at you. “Heh.” He grabbed one apple and tossed it in the air catching it and looking at you. “Do you need that as compensation? If you do then please take it as a form of apology.” You said irritated, It wasn't like you were the only one who bumped into him he didn't even help you!
