Irin gave a glare to some noble ladies in front of her, but she was rather doing it in secret. Her maid was on her side, Noble Gathering was a waste of time, and All these people were fake. These personalities are fake. Everything was lying behind their masks.
“So Lady Irin, you are now on an age applicable for marriage why aren't you engaged yet?” Irin smiled at the woman. “Me? I am in no rush to get engaged Lady Yukimori, I wish to inherit my family name first before committing eternity with someone I truly love.”
“What about Mr. Ikiyo? He seems very smart. You two are sure a perfect couple.” Another noblewoman commented. Irin opened her fan as she lets out a smile, “I don't think my marriage candidates are in concern to you Lady Minari?” The atmosphere tensed. “A-Ah Apologies Lady Irin.”
Irin scoffed as she stood up and left, with Rei following her. “Did you do what I have said?” Irin asked the maid all she did was nod. Irin lets out a laugh. “The one thing I hate the most is people prying into my business.” She said as she walked even further, she saw a girl the same height as her same hair her eyes widened. She ran in her direction.
Was that Y/N? Was all her mind could think off. Same Height, Same Hair, Same eyes. “My lady?!” Rei exclaimed.
Impossible, Father said she was dead. Her eyes widened, What if it was indeed you—? “Rei, I need you to contact the people and have them look for someone with long (H/C) in the city.” Rei nod.
“I hope my guts are betraying me, Y/N you should never live.”

You suddenly felt chills going around your spine, you looked back to see Heizou again. “Mr. Shikanoin, What are you doing?” You gave him a bored look. “I'm here for work.” Work?
“What is your job?” You felt curious, Heizou gave you a smirk. “Getting curious, now are we?” You rolled your eyes as you looked away from him. “I work as a detective.” You looked at him again, you wouldn't even guess. He doesn't look like a detective no matter how you think about it. “A detective.. then you must be very genius then.” You said to him. He gives you a light chuckle.
“Precisely.” he laughs. Unknowingly your heart skipped a beat hearing him laugh, why? You shook your thoughts out of your head. “Then shouldn't you be working? Why are you bothering me?” You raise a brow at him. “I want to know you better.” You blushed at the statement he said bluntly. “W-WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?!” you said as you backed away from him. “Well, you are an interesting person after all,” Heizou said making you even flustered.
“Hey tell me, why were you stealing?” You gave him a sigh. “I don't like working.” lies, there's more to that. “Why don't you work on the Tenryou Commission? You won't get your vision seized if you do.”
“I'm afraid I will have to refuse, I am not fit to do so.” You said that was a lie. You probably can but it's just— You were best friends with the priestess of the Watatsumi Island and the general of the Resistance the opposing team that continues to fight the Shogunate. It would be ironic if you would join the opposite team yourself.
“Oh did you hear about the Vision Hunt Decree's milestone? It's in two days.” You nod, a word from Tenryou Commission came across all Inazuma, even the resistance have heard of it. “It's best that you be careful and hide your vision well.”
“Well, things are about to be busy for me. See you later, Ms. Y/N.” Heizou winked at you, as he walked away.
“Going to be busy? How do detectives are busy people?” You thought that was weird, You thought he was pretty much jobless since he looks like he has a lot of free time on his hands, He does work very seriously. “I better go home now.”
