“Damn It!” Irin exclaimed she was on her secret base, a report came in that they found what she ordered, The pictures indeed look like her and that could only mean one thing, her sister was alive. “Do you know where she lives?!” Irin said the agent shook his head which made Irin slap his cheek. “Useless!” she screamed.

“Get out of my sight!” She ordered. The agent took his leave, she rubbed her temples as he sat on her chair. “Rei, pass my orders. Investigate where Y/N lives we must eliminate her no matter what the cost.” Rei nodded, “Understood, My lady.”

After Rei left, Irin broke down as she smashed things on her desk. “Useless, Annoying!” Irin said as she gritted her teeth. “I must eliminate you soon, Y/N.”

Heizou also didn't know why he was standing in a little house, The house opened revealing a woman in her forties. “Ah, yes? Do you need something, Good Sir?” The lady asked. “Hello, May I ask if Ms. Y/N is home by any chance?” Heizou asked.

The lady only sighed, her hands covering her mouth. “That child. I'm sorry Sir but she's not home at the moment, and I her mother, also don't know when she will.” Heizou's brow raised. Where could you have been—? “I see, thank you,” Heizou said as he turned his heel. “How about you come in for a second, Sir?” The woman said. Heizou hesitated for a moment but accepted the invitation.

When he stepped inside the humble home, It was clean, there wasn't much furniture, but it was a decent home. The lady came back with tea. “You must be Shikanoin's son.” Heizou's eyes widened. “How did you—” The lady smiled at him. “I am in fact, your father's friend.”

“I am sure you have many things you are curious about Y/N, then let me tell you about her.” Heizou looked at the lady, “Why are you saying this to me, don't you know I'm a Tenryou Commission Detective? What If I arrested your daughter?” Heizou said. Kira gave the young man a chuckle, “I know you wouldn't because you are Shikanoin's son.”

“Y/N is not my daughter. Y/N is a noblewoman just until her title was stripped down from her. Her real name is Y/N Yamashita.” Heizou again was bewildered by the sudden revelations. “You mean she's Lady Irin's twin sister?” The woman nodded.

“But why are you saying this thing at me?” Heizou said. “Because I don't have time left, and I want you to protect my daughter. Be wary of Irin, and remember this.. tell your father, ‘that the moon is already here bright in the skies the yet it fades and the thunderstorms and rain collide.’,” She said,

“So that's what happened..” Kazuha said. You nodded, Kazuha only hugged you. “It must've been hard for you all these years.” You tried not to cry in his embrace, luckily it was only the two of you out here in the sea gazing at the shore, Your tears fell as you hugged the ronin tightly.

Every day was hard, The means to survive, the means to hide your appearance every day, The means to carry a huge burden for your mother because you believed that all happened was because of you, Both your biological mother and your adoptive mother are suffering because of you because you are a cursed child. Kazuha pats your head. “You're very strong Y/N, I'm proud of you.” You smiled at him.

“I'm gonna go home for now. My mother is waiting for me.” Kazuha nodded, “You be careful.” You gave him a sheepish grin. “I'm not called Colonel Y/N, for nothing!” As you walked towards your home you were taken back to see Heizou sleeping on a big tree near your house. “Heizou?” You said He was sleeping leaning on the tree. “Why are you here so late...”

You take a good look at his features, You also wondered why he didn't arrest you and that that made sense that he was working for the Shogun. “You're so unpredictable as a person...”  Heizou's eyes opened slowly. “Y/N?” The two of you looked at each other's gaze, Your faces were closed to each other; felt like time was slowing down. “Heizou? What are you doing here?” You asked him.

“I was worried about you.” You gave him a confused stare. But you have no reason to be? You gave him a sigh. “That's—” Heizou grabs your harm, he was still half asleep, It feels like he was begging for me to stay. “Don't leave.” You stopped. As you sat down together with him, Heizou leaned on your shoulders, sleeping soundly. It wasn't uncomfortable; rather you felt peace together with him.

Your eyes felt heavier, Was it because you were exhausted earlier, either way, you wanted to lie down.

Your mother saw the two of you, she was crossing her hands, she gave a sigh and a little smile seeing the two of you. Soon, her face became serious as she gets out of the house walking towards an empty forest, where— a man was standing, dressed in suspicious clothing, “You're here, Ryu.” Your mother said, the man bowed as he faced her. “Yes, Ms. Kira. Your orders?”

“How's the noble society nowadays?”

“It is still the same Miss, but rather your niece; Irin is been on the move these days.” Kira stopped, “You say, Irin?” The man nodded, and Kira pondered. “Watch her closely as possible.” The man nodded. “You can go now.” she dismissed the man, as she walked back towards their house, seeing that Heizou was carrying you in a bridal manner. “Oh my.” Your mother teased him, and he blushed. “Don't misunderstand, It's cold outside.”

Heizou bid a farewell to your mother, leaving you with your mother alone. You were sleeping peacefully in your room. Your adoptive mother sighed. “For now, the things are still so complicated for you, Y/N. I will tell you personally once I can clear Yamashita's doing.”

“Is that you mama?” I said as I looked up to the woman smiling at me, her smile was filled with so much warmth, “Y/N, why are you here? Come~”

“It's not your fault.”

I smiled as I nodded but everything became black which made me shiver. The woman in front of me gripped my shoulders tightly, It felt suffocating. “You are the reason, I died!”

“How dare you live while I die because of you!”

“N-No. Mama, I didn't. I'm sorry!” I cried. The woman held my face as she laughs hysterically. “That's right, If you want to atone for the things you have done you have to live miserably!”

I looked up to see many corpses, I screamed. I saw my mother, sister, and adoptive mother's corpses on the floor I covered my mouth. I looked back to see Kokomi, Gorou, and as well as Ayaka, and Kazuha lying unconscious on the floor.

I backed out, instantly feeling that cold feeling of the wall. I saw. Heizou? Looking at me with disappointment in his eyes. “You? You did this?” He said as he looked at the people on the floor. I felt choked, quivering in fear as I desperately wanted to speak my thoughts out. “N-N..oo..”

I tried to approach Heizou. But he only gave me a look of disgust, “Don't come near me, you cursed monster.”

You woke up panting, “NO!” You looked at the ceiling above you realizing that it was just a rather horrible dream, a nightmare.

“Y/N?” You looked up to see your mother at the door. “M-Mom?” You said, “Mom is that you? Are you alive?” You said, Your mom pinched the bridge of your nose. “Did you have a nightmare? Of course, I'm here well and alive.” You hugged her. “Sigh, whatever you dreamed of it's not true.”
