"So you were saying a woman was stealing your goods earlier, was that correct?" Heizou said the merchant nodded. "And it's not the first time she has done it!" The detective frowned. "Well can you at least describe what her appearance is if you still remember?" Heizou asked.

"I remember! She had... long.. (H/C) hair, this tall and wears a black mask!" Heizou nodded as he listed it down to his note, "I will investigate this matter thoroughly."

Heizou went to his favorite island, Watatsumi just to go sightseeing- When he saw a girl who was collecting some sango pearls in the wild. "Isn't that Ms. Irin?" Unlike what he witnessed on some occasions the person below wasn't elegant at all, it looked like she was free from nobility, In Heizou's eyes, it felt like a whole different person.

You were gathering pearls, It was for Kokomi. She wanted some so you were tasked by General Gorou to get some as he was busy preparing the troops. You, Gorou, and Kokomi have been friends ever since you were ten, When your mother took you to Watatsumi Island to flee from the City Since Watatsumi Island was far from the city she took you here for your safety so that your biological father can't see you again, Although you were friends you were hardly here in Watatsumi Island because you live in an isolated area in tataratsuna.

"This should be enough.. or is it even more?" You said you were very worried about the ongoing war between the shogunate and resistance. "Ah whatever I need to go and deliver these to Kokomi.." You said, but before you could go you wore your mask as you carried the box that you were holding where the pearls are in.

Heizou's eyes widened, as he read his note again. He jumped on the ground near her making her stop. "Sir? Do you need something?" You asked. "Oh? Forgetting me already?" Heizou said. "I.. do I know you, sir?" You said it's the person who you bumped the other day you could've sworn you wore disguise that day so why would he recognize you now?

"I am also curious why Ms. Yamashita is here in Watatsumi Island carrying a box of sango pearls." Your eyes widened. You would have never expected to hear that surname again, you looked away. "Sorry Mr. I think you got the wrong person, Excuse me." she pushed him to the side hurriedly leaving him alone.

"Hm. Maybe or maybe not." Heizou shrugged. You hurriedly ran towards Kokomi's office as you put down the box containing pearls. "Y/N? What's wrong?" The priestess asked you. You shook your head as you smiled awkwardly, but it was useless because you were wearing a mask. "Nothing, I just remembered Mother told me to come back early.. so I'm going!"

"Wait Y/N-!" Kokomi said, too late you left already.

Heizou was on the statue of Omnipresent God, he saw Ms. Irin seating on the statue, She was back on her elegant self and more composed. "Oh? Mr. Shikanoin what brings you here outside this late?" Heizou looks at her. "I could say the same to you, Ms. Irin." She smiled as she closed her eyes. "I'm remembering someone and praying to the Seven Gods that he will come back one day safe and sound." Heizou looked at the girl wasn't she just a woman who was lovesick for a missing person, and that person was his friend.

"The night is cold, it's best if you go home now." Irin nodded, as heizou left Irin her eyes went hostile. "Where are you, Kazuha?" She asked. She stares at the starry sky remembering that years ago she did something horrible, despite being young. "Remember that you died for me, Y/N. It was an inevitable sacrifice for a cursed child like yourself." She said as she left the statue to return home to the estate.

"Sister Irin, When I grow up I want to be as beautiful as you are!"

"Silly, we're twins we have the same face!"

"Princess, don't you think, Lady Y/N is preventing your father from loving you even further? She was the reason why your mother died, and because of that reason your father is sad for eternity."

"But she ruined your supposed to be a happy family~ aren't you mad at the cursed child?"

"She's nothing but a useless child, You are the heir of this household young miss."

That's right, you were cursed, She did the right thing, If you had stayed then you will only suffer in pain from the people, at least if she has done that you would be free from pain.

She lets out a small scoff as she came home. Going in, she was greeted by her drunk father- "Ah, you're home already? Are you still searching for that useless boy?" Your sister clenched her fist. "No, you misunderstood me, father. I merely took a walk in the evening. If there is nothing I will go to my room now." She said.

Rei followed her soon after, "Lady Irin." The older woman called out, Irin glared at her as she opens the door to her room closing it with force causing a huge bang to echo. "Leave me alone, Rei," Irin mumbled, she sat down on her bed and she took out a picture frame from her drawer a picture containing four children in the picture, Kazuha, You, Ayaka, and her. The four of you were childhood friends it felt like everything seems to go downhill after you left. Ayaka often refuses to appear in public and as for Kazuha, he fled outside the Inazuma to not want to give up his vision.

Heizou was waiting, he was leaning on the tree looking at the merchant that filed the complaint yesterday today he must catch the robber, since if he doesn't solve this case then general kudos will surely give him a nagging. A few minutes later a lady wearing black got closer, (H/C) long hair, wearing a mask. As Heizou walked closer to the stall the woman was already running, Heizou started to chase her.

You cursed on your breath as you saw the person yesterday, why do you keep bumping into each other? You ran towards Byako plain, you were running out of stamina if it was the merchant chasing you it wouldn't even matter that much however this was a different scenario.

Heizou grabs your arm and the two of you stop. "STOP!" the two of you locked eyes together which made your eyes widen, your mask fells out of your face you panicked as you hid your face with your palm. Heizou only looked at you weirdly, with his strong force he was able to break your hands free from your face, "Lady Irin? Why were you stealing in the city? That name again, you pushed him back with all your might as you yelled, "You got the wrong person!" You ran away from him, and just then the tenryou police caught up with Heizou. "Mr. Shikanoin!"

"We saw you running, Is there something wrong?" Heizou only chuckled waving his hands in the air. "Nothing, go back to your work."

"Got the wrong person? I feel like we are going to meet more quite often now, Ms. Thief."
