Hallow Bastion: Space Paranoids

Maya's P.O.V

Chip and Dale had told us there's trouble going on in Hallow Bastion so we decided to go there next. We gasped when as soon as we landed Heartless appeared but they quickly disappeared when they saw us. 

" Do you think...." Sora asked knowing somethings wrong here. 

" Looks like there's more Heartless now." I pointed out. I groan when we saw Nobodies too. 

" Let's go check in with everyone." Sora suggested. Judging by what we saw so far things can't be looking good here. 

" I think they're at Merlin's." Goofy said.

As we made our way towards Merlin's house we bumped into someone I've been dying to see. But did not expect him to show up here. 

" Cloud!" I yelled. 

He lifts his head up to us. Damn, is it me or did he get more hotter the last time we saw him? He's got a new outfit too. This one suited him much better.

" Whatcha doing?" Donald asked him. He's just casual standing there in deep thought. 

" I'll get him. This time we settle it. Me, and the one who embodies all the darkness in me." He said.

" I thought you looked kinda different, Cloud." Donald pointed out, frowning. Nah, man! He got a glow up!

" If I do, it's his fault." He simply said. Forgot he's not much of a talker.

" Whose?" Sora asked.

" Sephiroth. Tell me if you see him." Cloud said. 

I nod. " Sure. What's he look like?" Just his name sounded chilling. 

" Silver hair. Carries a long sword." He said with his eyes closed. 

" Got it. Well, be seeing, Cloud." Sora said. Aw, man! I wanted to stay a little longer. 

" Be careful. He messes with your head, makes you think darkness is the only way." Cloud warns us. 

" Is something wrong?" 

Aerith suddenly showed up. She gets closer to him. 

" It's nothing." Cloud said brushing her of. 

Aerith leans in. " Hmm?" 

" I don't want you involved." Cloud told her. 

Aerith backed away but she understood. " You mean you don't want me there when you go away again?" She questioned. 

" I just---" Cloud couldn't find the right words to tell her. " Listen, even if I go far away, I'll come back." Aw damn, that's sweet. 

" Do you man it?" 

" Yeah." The blond mutters. 

" See? You don't look so sure." Aerith teased him. " Well, okay, I understand Go-- get things settle." She assured him. 

" Huh?" 

" No matter how far away you are... once you find your light... I'm sure it will lead you back here again. Right?" She stated. 

" I suppose." Cloud said. 

" So I'll stay here--- and I'll cheer for you--- okay, Cloud?" She smiles at him. 

" Okay." Was all Cloud could say before walking away. 

" Wonder if he'll be okay." Aerith said trying to hide her worriedness for him.
