The FROZEN Heart (Merlin x Reader)

She felt her heart thumping hard as soon as she walk further,her e/c shifted to icy blue ones.

'Why am I feeling this way?'

Her eyes shifted towards her wand lying besides her resting figure behind the large tree trunk.It flickered non-stop.She almost forgot to questioned about it,she take a hold of the magical wand and plucked in its edge towards ths ground,

"Show me"

Then everything around her turned sparkly blue seeing that she's in her own little world and feeling the time around her stop.She nibbled her lower lip and gasp when the ground beneath her started to shake.Her blue eyes glowed upon seeing herself now unknowingly seeing the place where she saw Merlin and Red Shoes were sitting together at a long besides the river looking at their right.To her suprise,there were 3 large logs aiming their target towards them,

'Danger ...'

Before her vision was over,the last thing she saw is when Merlin take his hands in Red's and both run away and still being chased by the monsters.

Her eyes snapped open and her breahing went heavy after that,her pupils dilated and grabbed her wand,

"SㅡSummon..."She mumbled,feeling shaky for the first time,

'Why am I feeling like this?'

The wand glowed icy blue,she focused on to her energy level,the image of her one and only cousin,Jack Frost showed up from the hologram snowflakes that her wand make,her icy hands touched on to Jack's profile,

"Call"

BOOM!

Huge soundwave can be heard and seen around her,she lowered her arms from shading her eyes and sighed in relief as soon as a pile of flowing snowflakes,delicately circling around her figure like a fairy.The snowflakes began piling themselves up forming into a figure of a man.Without even realizing,Y/n's gaze soften and a small smile etched on to her lips.

Royal Blue hoodie covering with a little frost at the edge,brown pants,light pale skin,blue icy eyes,identical with her now glowing ones,white coloured soft hair and lastly,a staff with a hook design at the top with frosts also covering the bottom.

'Jack Frost...'

A smile formed on to his lips as soon as his eyes settled on to his cousin,

"Heya little frost"

But a loud roar interrupts before she could even reply,Jack whom had his eyes widened at the direction where the roar came from,pointed his staff towards,

"Woah,didn't expect danger"

"That's the reason why I call you here Jack"She spoke,

"Woah,really?Damn,I thought you're calling me because you miss me"He chuckled before he turn serious,"So,what's the danger?"

"I...I want you to save them for me"

"Save whoㅡ"

"Merlin and...Red Shoes"

Jack didn't utter another word.Even though he wanted to know why she call him only to help Merlin but she could do it by herself.With a nod and asking more on to it,he decided to do it in a flash.

But Jack had other plans.

By the time he went flying with the wind's help,he managed to do one of his spells that he'd learnt back at the North pole.

As mischievous as he is,his eyes caught a glimpse at the trails of snowflakes resulted by Y/n when he lowered himself to the ground,being careful to not let the unknown creature see or feel his presence up ahead,

'Maybe that could help',He thought.

With his staff,it glowed light blue and landed on to the ground,tapping it's edge on to the snowflakes in which it immediately and elegantly circling around infront of him,with a faint glow.

'I can do this all day'

Y/n's figure came to his visionㅡSorry,fake Y/n came to his vision,

"Heya snowflakes,how about I give you a mission?"

The fake Y/n lifted her head and landed her gaze towards him,

"Sure,just tell me what to do"She spoke.

"Protect Merlin and this girl Red Shoes,I'll be helping you from above,okay snowflakes?"

"Sure"

With a nod,Jack held her hand,giving it a firm but gentle squeeze to which Y/n hold it the same way as he did before they both take off towards the enemies.

When they both had arrived at the scene where Merlin fought off with the log monster,Jack let the (fake) Y/n go when they've landed.Without uttering another word,Jack flew above,doing exactly as he said.

Y/n ran towards them and hid behind the tree,observing closely,

'I didn't expect less from the (fake) her'

But as soon as he saw Y/n helped Merlin getting him up to his feet from the very close fall,Y/n's gaze sneakily looked up towards Jack to which he gave her a thumbs up,his pointer finger making a small circle repeatedly to which a rope appeared at the (fake) Y/n's hands along with the strings attached to her body.

The strings that only him allowed to see it.

He flawlessly moved his fingers allowing Y/n to copy and do the actions to which he smiled wider,

"Man,I should've thought of doing a puppeteer showㅡ"He stopped before continuing,eyes showing interest,"Wait,that's actually not a bad idea to prank the Easter Bunny!"

He lowered down his hands to his side when the fight was over with his.
