"Shutter"

Startled, I hurriedly turned my head sideways to see who was there. I grew anxious at the sound of the camera, and got scared thinking someone was stalking.

Suddenly the bush behind moved and planing to run away, as I got up, someone called out my name.

"Hey! I'm sorry.."

I turned to see it was you. He stood there with his camera hung around his neck. Scratching his head, as to think of explaining the situation, he walked near me. My heart beat fast and I could feel heat radiating throughout.

"Well, you see" he continued "as I was passing by, I happen to see a perfect shot while you were playing with that flower there" he pointed his finger at the flower that I was holding. "I'm sorry it was without personal consent. You got scared."

As he stood there forcing a smile, my mind was completely blank. You froze me yet again, coming up so suddenly like this-

At that moment, I realized.

How can I forget you? I never can; you always show yourself up before me, even when I decide to walk pass by.

"Umm..are you still mad?" he leaned ahead, looking straight into my eyes.

Flustered, I quickly turned away and stammered "no. No. I'm. It's okay. Okay"

He chuckled "ahh I'm relieved." He lowered to pick my bag up. "So shall we head to home?"

Smiling, you led the way and I watched you walking ahead. I thought, is this.. my happy moment?

"Alright! Wait for me!" I ran after you. Slowly our steps aligned and there you were - Beside me, for real.We were walking together. I was no longer a person watching, I was living at that moment; the moment belonged to me.

Suddenly you stopped and grabbing your camera you asked me "hey how about a proper shoot? The sunset looks pretty."

How could I say no? Smiling wide, I nodded and chose my spot. Even if not in person, but I'll be your treasured piece of art you'll cherish. Do smile often when you see this picture of me later.

"You know what number 0 told number 8?" he came up with a question out of the blue. Puzzled, I simply nodded no, waiting further for his answer.

"Nice belt!" He chuckled, soon enough to sigh at my confused face. "You didn't get it right?"

Well,

is this what made Jane laugh so hard? I expected something more better from you. Lol.

I never understood single one of things like this even though dad used to tell me one after another.

However, your expression was more fun to watch at. I soon erupted into laughter.

"You got it right! Geez. You're so slow" he complaint as he adjusted the lens with his face hidden behind the camera.

I motioned my hand asking him to put aside the camera for a while. He did so, and raising his eyebrow gave me a confused look.

"Geez. You're so slow. Because I wanted to see your face. You make me smile." I teased him. But you probably don't have any idea how nervous I was to say what I said.

And I don't regret it, since I knew that no words I spoke could ever make you like me more or less. So I guess being honest with you wouldn't hurt.

"......" He said something, but his expression still frozen. I couldn't read your face, I couldn't get you. The sound of the metro superceded what you just said, and I couldn't ask you to repeat yourself.

And,

I guess it's the only thing I regret not asking you....
