Lukyan was on edge. He and his comrades had all sat down in various places to relax.

It seemed to work actually--most of them were relaxed.

But Lukyan? He was the furthest thing from relaxed. He just keep nervously tapping his nails on the arm of the chair.

Akachi, Bohdana, and Jasoslav were chatting with each other--so were Ia, Seth, and Aahmasaha.

Pagan was speaking with Jalila--she was most likely trying to win Jalila back.

Koios was just ominously standing in a dark corner. He probably did that a lot.

Lukyan stood up from the chair. He just couldn't just sit there doing nothing. Something was off. He knew it. He could feel it.

"You okay?" Jasoslav asked Lukyan.

The young siren nervously tapped his foot on the ground. "Something's off. I can feel it," he explained.

"Not this again," Bohdana rolled her eyes.

"Jalila said there's no way for Satan's forces to find us," Akachi explained. "They won't find us. We're gonna be okay. You're gonna be okay."

Lukyan swallowed, sighing. "I'm sorry. I just have this feeling I can't shake. It's almost a feeling of impending doom."

"Just try to relax a little more. The feeling will go away. I promise," Akachi said, softly to Lukyan.

"Alright." Lukyan sat back down, trying to repress his thoughts.

Athanasia exited the rift into the Prizrak Realm.

Hadley was still holding onto Athanasia's hand, as tight as possible. "What are we doing?" She whispered.

"We're getting what information we can obtain," Athanasia explained to the young siren. She got closer to the window. She made sure she wasn't visible to the people inside. She then just listened.

Jalila Sultan and Pagan Shevchenko were near the window.

"What if they do find us?" Pagan asked.

"They won't. They wouldn't think to look here," Jalila explained to the vampire.

"But, there's always a chance..." Pagan trailed off.

Jalila sighed. "Yeah. You're right. There is always a chance someone will tip them off." She paused before saying, "Personally, I don't know what we'll do if they find us. I say they won't because I don't want people to worry. I say that because I want to reassure myself since I don't have a plan."

Koios, the Slavic god of Fate and Time, approached them. "Well, if Satan's forces do find us. And we need a quick get-away for Jasoslav and Lukyan, I can pull some strings." He lowered his voice as if he could tell there was a demon right outside that was listening in. "I'll take them back to Ewionys."

Ewionys is what the the paranormal creatures refered to the human realm as.

"Huh?" Pagan began, confused.

Koios continued, "Let's just say I know of a nice barn in Ewionys that we can use if need be."

Jalila smiled. "Alright. It's settled. If Satan's forces show up, Koios will take them to Ewionys."

Lukyan still didn't feel any better. He just anxiously tapped his foot and bounced his leg.

"You're not feeling any better, are you?" Jasoslav asked him.

Lukyan shook his head. "No. I'm not."

Jasoslav stood. "How about we go outside? Maybe that'll help you."

"Maybe." The siren swallowed before standing and following Jasoslav outside.

They stood on the porch.

"Are you gonna tell me there's nothing to worry about?" Lukyan asked as he approached Jasoslav.

Jasoslav didn't answer. He just gawked.

Lukyan followed the demon's line of sight.

There was Satan's garrison, being led by Decimus.

Lukyan rubbed his eyes, not believing he seeing. He thought that maybe he was just tired--he was just seeing things.

Nope. The garrison was still there when Lukyan opened his eyes.

Jasoslav grabbed Lukyan's hand and the ran back inside, letting the door slam behind him. "They're here! Satan's forces are here!" Jasoslav informed the others, sounding panicked.

Jalila and Koios exchanged a glance.

Koios then said, "Come on. We'll go out the back door." He then headed toward the backdoor with Jasoslav, Lukyan, Akachi, Bohdana, Pagan, and Sethunya following.

The group headed out the back door and started to run.

"We need to get a safe distance away," Koios told them as he sprinted. "That way they won't be able to tell where the portal leads."

Decimus crashed down right in front of them. "I'm sorry, were you going somewhere?"

Pagan, Seth, and Koios shoved the rest behind them.

"I'll make this easy," Decimus said. "You guys give me those two kids and I'll spare you."

Pagan moved forward. She snarled, "Over my dead body."

Valmog, who was accompanying Decimus, smiled. "How noble." He yanked the wooden stake from its holder and plunged it right through Pagan's heart. Then he pulled it out, aggressively.

Pagan stumbled back before falling motionless. Then, she slowly turned to ashes, then nothingness.

"No!" Jasoslav screamed, in distress.

The ground of the Prizrak Realm began to shake.

Decimus and Valmog lost their balance.

Koios sighed. "Fuck it." The Slavic god opened a portal right there.

Seth, Bohdana, Akachi, and Lukyan jumped through.

Jasoslav didn't notice the portal was open. He was still just shouting--setting massive fires, letting the realm shake even more.

Koios then proceeded to hit the kid really hard in the temple to knock him out.

Koios then huffed before throwing Jasoslav through the portal and then going through himself as the Prizrak Realm nearly collapsed behind the group.
