Zephyria pushed through the rift and onto the cliff side just outside of Athens. The tears stained her face.

She raced up to someone she recognized, Azeline de Chalons, one of Athanasia's past lovers.

"Where's Athanasia? I thought she was supposed to be with you," Azeline questioned.

Zephyria's voice wavered, seeming to choke on her words. "She didn't make it."

Azeline's eyes lit up with tears. "N-no."

"What's the plan?" Akachi asked Jasoslav. He sniffled. "Now t-that Xuviphas is closed."

Jasoslav forced the sob in his throat as far down as he could. He blinked a couple of times before wetting his lips. "I'm gonna use the remaining Xuviphas to kill my father." He continued up the palace steps.

"Are you sure that's not a bit drastic?" Akachi asked, trying to follow him. "You could always imprison him for his crimes."

"No." Jasoslav shook his head. "That would be letting him off way too easy. He killed Luka." The boy then ran up the rest of the steps and burst into the room. "Father," he called out as loud as he could.

"Jasoslav," Perseus began, sounding surprised. He laughed a little. "Would you look at that… You look like me. So much like me."

"I'm nothing like you," Jasoslav spit.

"What's with the attitude? Who killed your best friend?" Perseus laughed.

"You did!" The Ukrainian boy shouted.

         "Uh, what?" Perseus began, confused.

Jasoslav didn't even explain. He just charged straight at Perseus, pulling a knife on him. He slashed at him and Perseus evaded a couple of times.

The knife fight slowly escalated into a more intense fight.

Perseus yanked the boy up after punching him several times. "You don't wanna do this, kid. Think about it. I'm your father. You love me. Plus, you can't stop me even if you wanted to."

Jasoslav laughed, spitting a little blood out. "Of course I stopped you. Xuviphas is closed. Lukyan closed it. He went in."

Perseus threw the boy straight to the ground from his place over forty feet into the air.

Jasoslav hit the ground—the crash landing tore some of the skin off the boy's face. Now, part of his skull was exposed, blood gushing everywhere.

Perseus grabbed the boy before he could get up and tossed him threw the shattered ground, making him plummet for a little bit.

The jagged stone tore left his eye out, but that didn't stop Jasoslav from trying to crawl out of the crevice with several broken bones.

Perseus learched forward, yanking his son into a headlock. "You little shit! You ruined my plans! Now you wanna kill me!"

"Your actions killed him… killed L-Lu-" Jasoslav tried to choke out.

Perseus placed a hand on the side of Jasoslav's head before aggressively jerking it, seemingly snapping the boy's neck.

Akachi, who was watching from the entrance, screamed, "Jasoslav!"

When the boy fell, Perseus's red eyes grew wide as backed up before turn away. "What have I done?" He questioned. All was silent for a moment before Perseus laughed a little to himself. "Oh. I get it. He was in love with that useless boy Luka." He shook his head. "Damn boy couldn't even survive Xuviphas."

Jasoslav slowly stirred, stumbling to his feet, which Akachi was in complete and utter awe about. He gripped either side of his own head and jerked it, as if he was putting it back in its place.

        Akachi was frozen, just observing.

Jasoslav clenched his jaw. As he raised his head, his whole eye became a glowing red color. Leathery wings with bones poking out of them sprouted from his back.

The Ukrainian boy's hands fell to the side, allowing him to fashion blades out of lightening. He charged at Perseus, burying his blades in his father's back. Then he kicked Perseus off the blades.

He used superspeed to constantly knock Perseus down before he could fully get up.

He shot missiles of ice directly through Perseus.

Finally, Perseus was laying on the ground, bleeding.

Jasoslav towered over Perseus, charging up a blast that would most likely kill the archangel.

Akachi rushed over. "Jasoslav, no! You'll kill him!"

Jasoslav snarled, "If you haven't been paying attention, that's what I'm trying to do, Akachi."

"You can't. He's your father," Akachi began. "Besides, is this what Luka would've wanted?"

"Luka is dead because of him!" Jasoslav barked.

"Please, I'm begging you, think about it. Be the better person. Please," Akachi begged. "If you kill him, that makes you no better than him."

Jasoslav stood there for a moment before grumbling something under his breath, powering his blast down, and turning away. He started to walk away with Akachi. Jasoslav called out to his father, "You're dead to me."

Just like that, Perseus was left alone.
