Chapter 16

The next day you awoke next to Pietro. You rolled over and kissed his cheek hoping to wake him.
You sighed and kissed him again and again and again.
"I know you want me to wake up but I'm really enjoying these kisses." He said smiling.
You laughed loudly then sighed.
"What's wrong?" He asked
"Just pretty sad I'll have to go home tomorrow."
He shot up," Tomorrow?!?" He turned to look at you and grabbed your hand. "I am truly so sorry Liliana. I lost track of time I just got so busy with everything that I kinda forgot you weren't gonna be here forever. " he gabbed his phone and began typing.
"What are you doing?" You questioned
"Well pretty girl, I'm telling Charles that I'll be busy for the next day and a half and I am asking him if I could borrow his car so we could have a little get away."
You sat up and wrapped your arms around his neck in a tight hug.
"Easy killer." He said in a strained voice.
You laughed,"Sorry. I just don't know my own strength." You flexed your almost nonexistent muscles causing Pietro to chuckle. He kisses your nose.
"You are the absolute cutest. I couldn't have picked anyone better to be my future wife." He said smiling so widely it almost looked painful. You smiled with him. "You're so damn beautiful."
You broke eye contact nervously and looked down at the bed while playing with your fingers.
His hand cupped you chin and tilted your head up so you were facing him again. "Don't be shy. Although I must admit it's absolutely adorable, you don't need to hide from me ever. Now, you get ready while I go make breakfast." he hopped off the bed put on his slippers and kissed your forehead before zipping out of the room.
You sighed with content thinking you couldn't be happier.
You climbed out of bed and headed for the shower. After bathing and getting dressed you went downstairs to join Pietro for breakfast.
You reached the bottom step and saw Erik about to ascend the staircase.
He nodded greeting you,"Hello Liliana. You look lovely as usual and you look much better than yesterday. How are you feeling? Are you being taken care of?"
You smiled and nodded," I am feeling much better thank you for you concern and yes. Pietro is the perfect murse." You chuckled.
He cocked his head
"Male nurse." You added
"Ah!"
"I'm actually about to meet him for breakfast right now." You continued
"Well, don't let me keep you" Erik said and took a step up the stairs.
You stopped him,"Oh I wanted to say that tomorrow night I'm returning back home and I won't be around here for a while. I'll miss you Erik."
He grinned,"Will you now?"
You nodded,"Definitely! You've been so nice to me and you really have taken care of me and you saved my life. You're a great person and I'm glad I met you. Me and Pietro are going to be pretty busy until tomorrow night but I'll make sure I'll come say goodbye." You concluded.
He smiled again and nodded before heading up stairs.
Before you could reach the kitchen a blindfold was placed over your eyes.
"Don't worry baby, I got you." Pietro said from behind you.
He walked you into the kitchen then to a chair where he told you to sit down.
"Close you eyes and keep em closed and I will take the blindfold off."
After a few minutes he finally let you open your eyes.
You were in the garden. It looked absolutely gorgeous with all the different flowers and fountains surrounding you.
On the table there was heart shaped French toast and bacon and all types of fruit.
"Pietro! This is stunning." You leaned over and kissed him.
"Only the best for my princess." He said reciprocating the kiss." Now let's eat."
