Chapter 17

After breakfast Pietro took you to an amusement park where you spent the whole day riding roller coasters and screaming at the top of your lungs.

You and Pietro had so much fun together and you felt better about the past few days and not spending as much time together as you would have liked.

Around 6 you got a text from Charles reminding you about your late training session.

You headed back to the house and kissed Pietro goodbye for a few hours while you trained and he made strategic plans for their upcoming mission.

Charles trained you harshly for 4 hours and you became really confident in yourself and your power as you moved things easily with the wave of your hand you also lifted a car and even Charles.

You still had yet to figure out what you'd do with your powers.

'Maybe I'll take Erik up on his offer.'
You thought before waving that idea away. You couldn't do that to Pietro.
After training you met Pietro in the dinning room he had Chinese food and a ton of papers and notebooks.

You kissed his cheek and sat down.

"What's all this?" You asked
"Guess."
"Mission plans?" You said taking a bite of your food.

"Nope." He smirked
"But you told me that's what you were going to do while I trained." You cocked your head to the side.

"Well if I told you what I was really doing you wouldn't want to train."

You were really confused. You leaned forward to peer at one of the papers.
You saw a seating chart and colors and names and flowers and dresses.

"Oh my gosh. You're wedding planning without me?!"

"Well I needed some time alone to write my vows and do a few things."

"You wrote your vows already?" You asked,"Can I read it?"

He laughed," Are you crazy? No you can't read my vows. Where's the fun in that?"

You pouted," Fine. Then you can't read mine."

He shrugged, "Good. I don't want to ruin the surprise." You stuck your tongue out at him and he grinned.

You and Pietro spent 3 hours on wedding planning before you fell asleep and he carried you up stairs.

The next day you woke up to breakfast in bed. You ate and cuddled with Pietro.

"So I was thinking we go to the beach and do some surfing." He suggested

"But I don't know how to surf."

"Who needs to know how to surf when your telekinetic."

You laughed,"Good point.

You took a shower and got dressed before getting in the car.

"Don't forget my plane departs at 10 so I have to leave the mansion by 8." You informed Pietro.

He frowned," Yeah don't remind me."

"Awww baby. It's okay. After your mission in two weeks you can come back."

"Yeah about that. It might take longer than that." He regretted to say.

"How much longer?" You asked not really wanting to know the answer.

"A month."

"A month?!? But you'll miss my graduation." You whined.

"I can try to make it back for a day if we haven't left for the mission yet. I'm sorry kitten. I didn't want to ruin your last day."
You sighed heavily,"it's okay. You gotta do what you gotta do I guess."

"I'll make it up to you I swear."

You smiled."You better."

Once at the beach you rented two surfboards and went into the water.

You used your power to move the surfboard. It was really fun and you were really good at it and it was a great way to test your powers.

You began doing tricks and flips and amazed the locals. You even had a surf-off with a guy who thought he could beat you. You used all your strength and power to beat him and you did. After that you lounged in the sand until it was 6 o'clock. You headed back to the house to get all your stuff together and say your goodbyes.

You knocked on Eriks door once you had everything in the car.

He opened it and smiled at you.
"May I come in?" You asked.
"Yes of course." He stepped aside to let you in.

"I...um just wanted to say goodbye. I'm about to leave for the airport."

He frowned,"Oh I see. Well take care of yourself. Be good. I still have your number I'll be checking on you." He smiled.

You laughed and have him a hug," I'm glad I met you. And thanks again for saving me."

"Don't mention it. And I'm glad I met you too."

You turned toward the door," oh yeah." You said turning back to him," I graduate high school in 3 weeks. I'd love if you could make it."

He nodded,"Just text me the details."

You gave him a nod before leaving the room.
Once you were outside you turned back to look at your goodbye committee. You have each of them a hug with a goodbye and a take care.

"Charles, thank you for having me and training me. I'd love to visit again if you'd have me." You said.

He smiled and nodded," of course. You're always welcome."

You said goodbye again and got in the car with Pietro and headed to the airport.
Once you reached your gate you let go of Pietro's hand and turned to him.

You dropped your bags and threw your arms around his neck and hugged him tightly and began to cry.

"Oh no. Don't cry princess. I'll be back as soon as I can. I swear. Don't cry it'll all be okay. Alright?"

You pulled back," Alright."

You kissed him gently and didn't let go until they called for your flight.

You pulled back and told him goodbye.

"I love you so much you beautiful fart bucket." He said causing you to laugh loud.

" I love you too you handsome doo doo sniffer."
