Chapter 17

Namjoon Point Of View

I am so mad at myself. I hurt my 2 youngest mates a lot but I hurt the boy and wolf who was meant to be our omega. I found out by my wolf being extremely hurt and something fell away but couldn't figure out what it was untill it clicked. It was Jungkook. I wanted time with him myself as it was only Jhope and myself that didnt get one on one time with him. Jin didnt really but he knew Jungkook was our mate.

I went up to him and held his hand. Perfect fit. I wanted to tell him what happened if his wolf could hear me and hopefully it will work. If not, at least I tried and I told him.

'Ghost? It's Namjoon.' I said and it was nothing. No sounds on the machine or anything.

'I will explain everything and i hope you can hear it. I want you to know I absolutely did not mean for this to happen. I'm hurt just thinking that I'm the reason why.' I said as i began sniffling.

'When Jimin and Taehyung saw you for the first time they went to Chan. They told him that the scent was with them then it went which was you. They were pretty sure it was you but Chan said to let him think.' I said and I continued.

'The next day was when Jin found out you were our omega but you got scared. After a while you played with Jimin and Taehyung in their wolf form. We all got told to wait by Chan cause you were sensitive as we saw. We did but it was only meant to be for a couple of days to a week at most. However some of us got our ruts and we forgot about it cause we all were helping with the ruts. We had no idea you could feel it and what our wolfs were feeling which were mainly Mochi and Tata. It made you worse and it started the spiral. We got told you are special and I'm sorry i didnt figure it out quicker.' I said crying.

'I failed you. I failed realising it was you who we waited so long for. I was so confused cause you smell like an alpha i thought it was a mistake so didnt really think much of it but now i know and I'm too late. I failed my other mates because I didnt ask the questions i had we lost our omega and i will never forgive myself because of that. We all have waited so long we didnt think it would be difficult finding out. You didnt feel the love, care, safety and loyalty wolfs should get from their mates and i feel horrible. I wish I could take it back and start over but I can't. I will live in regret for the rest of my life not being able to protect and realise who my omega was. I'm so so so sorry.' I said crying my eyes out. It hurts so much.

Something came over me and I leaned in to kiss him. If i couldnt have my omega i would kiss him for the first and last time.

I leaned down and pecked his lips. I smiled. So soft and perfect. My wolf told me to do it again and I did but held it longer. I was enjoying the only moment I could have with my omega. I turned off my emotions and that so my mates can have a break which also means they couldn't feel the sadness. I started to feel my wolf get excited and happy and kept telling me to do it. I kissed him again gently and I heard beeping.

I stopped and looked up at the machine.

Oh. My. God my omega.

I placed one hand on his cheek caressing it. I watched him as his head leaned into my touch and I felt so happy. I'll have my omega and my mates will have theirs. I placed my other hand on his head and I started to play with his hair with my fingers. He leaned in more and I could feel his wolf's happiness which is also Kookies. I kissed him again and I stayed in position. I smiled into the kiss with tears of happiness coming down my face when I felt Kookies lips move to kiss me.

'Hi baby.' I whispered as I was still caressing his cheek and playing with his hair.

*Hi mate Joonie.* I heard and looked into Kookie's eyes.

'Ghost?' I asked.

*Yes? My alpha mate leader?* He asked and I giggled.

'What happened?' I asked.

*I dont know... I can control Kookies body so it's me Ghost not Kookie.* Ghost told me.

'What happened to Kookie Ghost?' I asked

*He will be okay just needs time to recover from everything. Even though its Kookies body its Ghost.* He said.

'I can't believe it. I'm talking to my mate's wolf. Can I kiss you again?' I asked.

*Yes but first what do you smell?* He asked.

'Myself... Omega?' I said.

*The omega you're smelling is me. I can't talk so I communicate through our mindlinks. I also no longer smell like an alpha. I can control it.* Ghost said.

'That's okay. Are you okay to be taken off the machines?' I asked and got a small nod as a reply.

I smiled and carefully took off the wires and that was conecting my mate to the machine. After it was done he moved his legs so i could sit on the bed. When I got comfortable he came to me and straddled my hips so he's sitting on my lap, facing me. He smiled and wrapped his arms round my neck with his face in my neck inhaling my scent. I did the same wrapping my arms around his waist. After the well needed hug for myself, my wolf and Ghost I started to leave kisses on his neck. He leaned back to give me better access.

*My mate is a good babyboy for me.* I said through mindlink and I could sense he was blushing. I pulled away to look at him.

'You are so adorable and cute.' I said and he smiled.

*Hope i dont get into trouble for this.* I heard and I felt lips on mine. I realsied it was Ghost who is able to control Jungkooks body now. I smiled and kissed back taking the lead. After a few seconds my tongue was in his mouth. I heard him moan through the mindlink... Soo sexy.

'We need to tell the others. Before this gets out of hand.' I said as I stopped and Ghost placed his human's head on my shoulder.

*I have a plan.* Ghost said.

*I will turn into my form and I'll sit on the other side of the room. You tell our mates to come in to say goodbye. When they come in and see the bed empty they will look everywhere and one will hopefully see me.* Ghost said and it was brilliant and cute.

*Good idea Ghost. Get ready.* I said through mindlink so the others won't hear.

When everything was in place I opened the door and told them to come in but in our mindlink I told them to be quiet. They came through and started to panic.

'Where's kookie?' Jimin said.

'Smell the air first.' I said and they all started to smell the air at the same time. Different times they said I smell an omega. Then they all said those words *mate* They looked frantically and still nothing.

'Look closer.' I said as I felt then getting annoyed.

*This is entertaining.* I heard Ghost and laughed.

Just as I was about to tell them I saw Yoongi looking at the direction Ghost was.

'Ghost?' Yoongi asked, shocked but happy.

Ghost came out and turned around so his head was the furthest away and he started wagging his tail which made his scent stronger.

*It's me, my mates.* Ghost said through mindlink and they all heard him. Jimin and Taehyung pushed them all out of the way to hug Ghost first.

'Please for the love of god never do that again.' They both said. Ghost responded by licking both their cheeks. We then heard Jimin and Taehyung giggle.
