Chapter 47

Jin Point Of View

For 2 hours we were talking and laughing while having breakfast. We were trying to cheer up Kookie so his mind won't go back to those nightmares. As Kookie made a filling and delicious breakfast yesterday we decided to have something a bit light today so it was your choice on cereal and/or toast and then coffee.

After breakfast we took turns going into the shower to get ready. Jimin being the dirty git that he is, joined Jhope in the shower as we heard him scream because it was unexpected. Kookie laughed and then we did. Jungkook was next but he didnt want to go alone so there was fighting between Taehyung, Namjoon and Yoongi to see who could go with him but i slipped away with Kookie as they were distracted. We then heard a lot of 'Heys.' and 'That's not fairs.' We both giggled.

Kookie and I had a really good and relaxing shower. We washed each other's hair and backs as we couldn't reach. While I was getting dressed Kookie stayed in the shower. The hot water must be helping the pain with the pups and his sore muscles.

After Kookie gave a few growls as he didnt want to come out he eventually did and I wrapped him in a really fluffy towel. I dried his hair the best I could then helped him dry his body. I helped him put on a lotion/oil which helps alot in pregnancy. Keeps the skin moist and hydrated. I mainly put it on his stomach, back, arms, and legs. After it dried Kookie got dressed. The others showered and we headed out.

As it was a lovely and hot day we decided to walk as it was a 30 min walk. Namjoon, Yoongi and myself went into our wolf forms. Kookie took turns getting carried as he was struggling. We got to the pack and he fell asleep on Namjoon.

'Hi boys.' Jungkook's dad said.

'Hi Alpha Jeon.' Jimin said.

'Where's Kookie?' Alpha Jeon asked.

'He fell asleep on Namjoon as he was in wolf form on the way here.' Jhope said.

'Kookie will be getting a checkup to make sure everything is ok. We also need to ask her about something but we will wake him when we are near.' Taehyung said.

'What do you guys need to ask?' Jeon asked.

'Yesterday Kookie said he had a nightmare again and I was wondering as he's nervous about giving birth and everything else if he feels like that has set off the nightmares again.' I said. Jungkook's dad nodded and told us he will see us soon.

We made our way to the doctors when Kookie woke up. As Kookie said he has 6 mates so we arent really able to tell if he's clingy but I can tell today as he's really clingy today. It's cute though. He wanted me so I went to him and helped him off Knight which is Namjoons wolf. I could tell Knight was enjoying carrying Kookie but it's not good if it's all the time.

Kookie stood up and straight away hugged me. I pecked his forehead and we walked on. Yoongi and Namjoon turned back into their human form as we are going into a hospital/doctor area.

We got there and I felt Kookie relax as he knows the pups will be checked and any questions he has or us will get answered. Hopefully it will put his mind at ease.

'Hello Kookie. Hello alphas.' The doctor said and bowed.

'If one of you guys wants to come in with Kookie just for now and when we will do the ultrasound the rest of you guys can come in.' The doctor said.

'How come there's only one person with Kookie now?' Jimin asked, a bit upset as we all couldnt go in.

'I will be doing blood tests and his blood pressure and different tests which you all dont need to be there for. It's mainly the fun part in seeing the pups and the heartbeats. I promise as soon as the tests are done you guys will come in.' The doctor said and it made sense.

Kookie went in and im guessing he mindlink Namjoon as he followed. As Namjoon is lead alpha he gets to do everything first with his mates. I think Kookie knows that but also it was his birthday yesterday so i think Kookie wanted Namjoon so he could experience it all.

20 mins the door opened and the doctor said we could go in. She was doing different tests while we got ready.

'Tests all came back good. As you will be giving birth soon i suggest you eat more protein as it will help with the production of milk. You will lose a bit of weight so eating small meals regularly will help. Obviously if you're not hungry dont force yourself.' The doctor said, We all nodded.

'Is there any questions you guys have that you want to get off your chest. Maybe ease the nerves.' The doctor added.

'Just one.' Yoongi said and the doctor nodded while sitting down.

'Yesterday Kookie fell asleep but had a nightmare. He said he's had it before but stopped when he found us but it happened again. We were wondering if there was a reason for that.' Namjoon said.

'Oh well I know the nightmares you are referring to. It does happen having nightmares again all of a sudden but it could be because your mind is going through different scenarios about the birth and pups the nightmare slipped in. How come you didnt have nightmares for so long Kookie.' She asked.

'It stopped when I found out I had mates. I thought about them all the time. What they were like and their personalities. What I would be doing with them and things. It kept my mind busy.' Kookie said and we were all touched by what he said.

'Even after going to their home I thought about who I would be spending the night with or what I would be doing with them. Even who I could cuddle with.' Kookie added. Jimin went to him and kissed him then smiled after it.

'That makes sense. As you have been with your mates for awhile the thoughts you had arent there anymore as you have a routine with them so you know what's to come. Also as you have said you are struggling to sleep you will be tired so your thoughts are more free and so nightmares could happen.' She said and we nodded.

'What are the signs of Kookie going into labour and also do you know how long it will last?' Yoongi asked.

'As Kookie has a big litter I'm not sure. The pups could come really quickly after each other or could be a while between each pup. For going into labour you can sometimes see the contractions depending if they are strong enough. You would see the contractions at his stomach. Other signs could be moving constantly as he might be uncomfortable. Some werewolfs that give birth in wolf form sometimes start whimpering. There are very few werewolfs that give birth in wolf form so we still not sure bout some things.' The doctor said.

She started setting up the ultrasound machine as we continued to ask questions.

'Is there anything we can do while Kookie is in labour like what you can do if you were giving birth in human form.' Jhope said.

'Ive never been asked that but there are some things you could do but it might not work as every werewolf is different. Before I would say make sure everything is set up and ready. The place or room Kookie/Ghost will give birth in. Make sure there are plenty of towels or blankets. A heat pad could be a good idea just to make sure the pups stay warm and it gives Ghost a bit of help in keeping them warm as there is a big litter. I have heard of some people having food specifically for the Omega who was giving birth. Food they really like and is easy to eat. During labour you could give Kookie ice cream as it helps cool the wolf down. Also gives the wolf and human something to focus on. Making Jungkook/Ghost go for a small walk even if it's round the room now and again as it streches their legs and stops cramping.' She said.

I looked over and found Taehyung writing. I went over and saw he was writing everything the doctor was saying. It is a good idea to be fair.

'Anything else we could do?' I asked playing with Kookie's hair. He was leaning into my touch.

'Some of you guys could be in wolf form. You guys could comfort and reasure him that way as well as in human form. Mainly just what you would usually do. Kiss and or hug him. Patting his wolf rubbing against him in your wolf form.' The doctor said and we nodded.
