Chapter 62

Yoongi Point Of View

I sat down and Kookie rested his head on my thighs while the pups fed. They have gotten so big it's unreal. I was gently patting Kookies head when the door went. Namjoon went for it and Jin left to get the book about the pups. He will write beside the colour of the collar if it's a boy or a girl.

We have guesses to see who's right or who will be closest. I genuinely dont mind if we have all boys or all girls. I would like at least 3 of each and the last one can surprise me.

Everyone came in and we had a lovely talk about different things. Kookie stood up and grabbed one of the pups and gave it to the doctor.

'What's wrong Kookie?' She asked.

'That was the pup that Sebastian tried to take. Probably to lure Kookie out but Kookie figured it out and stayed with the pup. He probably wants you to check the pup to ease his mind.' Jimin said. As he said Sebastians name Kookie was on alert and started trying to hide the pups using him. We broke seeing that behaviour as he's scared and even though he's gone he still is. Even with the sound of his name he's on alert.

'Kookie. Kookie, listen to me okay. Breath. Sebastian isnt here anymore, he's dead. You let his wolf go so his wolf will be at peace and the rest of us killed him. His pack is also gone as well. You and the pups are safe. Believe me baby.' I said. Kookie whimpered a bit but then fell into me for a big hug.

'We can do the health checks now if it will calm Kookie. I dont mind. I usually do what the omega wants. If they want to wait a few minutes that's fine but if they want them checked straight away then that's fine as well.' The doctor said.

*Say thank you to her from me please.* Kookie said. I smiled.

'Kookie says thank you.' I said.

'No problem. Shall we get everything sorted.' The doctor said and we all smiled. Kookie went back to the same position and started feeding the pups again while everything got set up. It also meant Kookie laying his head on my thigh again and me stroking his head as it calmed him down and also relaxed him. Jin had the book ready and Namjoon got the thing to weigh the pups. The doctor got all her stuff out and we started.

'As Kookie is worried about the last pup we can check that one first.' The doctor said Taehyung picked it up and handed it to her.

She checked its ears, eyes, nose and mouth first. Everything was great. Everything is clear and no discharge or anything which is great. The pup looks physically healthy and its heart and lungs were good as well. No heart murmurs (Iregular heartbeat) or breathing issues. She checked its paws and claws and the belly for the ambilical cord as infection can sometimes happen.

'One healthy pup so far now to weigh it and find out the gender. Anyone want to have a guess?' The doctor asked.

'The pup is one of the biggest so I'm going to say boy.' I.N said and we all agreed. It was a boy.

All the pups got checked. 4 boys and 3 girls. We are going to have fun coming up with names. The doctor left after staying for a cup of coffee. Chans pack left 2 hours later as they had school and training to do. We were all really tired so headed for bed. Myself and Jhope were in the room with Kookie as it was our turn. I slept very well and I thought about what the names could be of the pups we have.

It's been a few weeks since we found out the genders. We all decided to take time and think before coming together and discussing it. If there are names we really like then it will be put in a pile of yes names and if there are names we dont like it will get put in the trash pile.

The pups have their eyes open and are beginning to take some steps so we are having to be careful. Chan came to us a few days ago and brought something that can be used indoors and outdoors. It's a pen that's big enough for 10 pups and as we have 7 so it is perfect. He said if no one is going to be upstairs we can bring the pups down and put them in there to keep them safe and in one place. We can also make it bigger if it needs to be, which is great.

In the morning I woke up seeing white. I lifted my head gently and saw kookie under the covers in wolf form snuggling into me. Jhope was keeping the pups warm but also interacting with them. That was a cute sight to see. I gently stroked Kookies fur and he kept snuggling closer or trying to. He couldnt get any closer but it's adorable seeing him try and wanting to be even closer.

The door opened and Namjoon came with food for us three. I smiled as a thank you.

'Jimin and Taehyung had to leave this morning as they had a test they couldn't miss. They will be back at roughly 1pm.' Namjoon said and I gave him a thumbs up.

I cuddled Kookie for a while until the pups started squealing and wanting to be fed. Kookie whinned dramatically and I burst out laughing. Kookie started to lick my face but stopped when the pups kept making noise.

'Go baby we can continue this later.' I said. Kookie gave one more lick and rubbed against me before heading to the pups. I sat quietly eating watching Kookie groom and then feed the hungry pups. I finished and went over to feed Kookie as he was busy.

*I miss my puppy form.* Kookie mindlinked me and Jhope.

'How come baby?' I asked.

*I could go onto any of your laps and fit perfectly. I could sleep and be close to you and not get in the way of your work or something. I get in the way if I want to sit on any of your laps.* Kookie responded.

'You might be able to do it again. You never know.' Jhope said.

*I do know and it won't happen.* Kookie replied and went to sleep while the pups continued feeding.

'His pup wolf form was his safe space and now it's gone. I hope he gets it back. Maybe when the pups are a bit more grown up.' I said.

Jhope came to me and cuddled. The rest of the day was quite good as well. Spending moments with my mates.
