Chapter 20

Yoongi Point of View

I couldn't believe that Jungkook was gone. I realised too late. It was only when he said those last words I smelled his scent and my wolf Shadow yelled and cried the word mate. He was hurting that the omega he had been looking for and longing for was dying infront of him. All the things Ghost was saying made Shadow upset that he couldnt be there to comfort him, love him to make him feel safe. He broke at the fact that Ghost and Jungkook thought they werent needed.

Since Namjoon was having time with Ghost and Jungkook we were all hugging each other and comforting each other. We got told to come in and we all panicked that the bed was empty. Namjoon told us to look around and after a while I spotted a white wolf. We were giving him so much attention which he was definitely loving.

All of a sudden the door opened and 3 guys were there. Ghost's behaviour changed quickly. He went straight behind Namjoon and I and was whimpering quietly. When we were talking 2 of the 3 guys disappeared and Chan came. Ghost must of mindlinked him. We got told what happened and Namjoon wanted to kill him for sure. Ghost did an adorable thing then ran after the guy. Namjoon, Jin and myself transformed into our wolves in case we needed to attack.

After a while we sensed another wolf and soon learned it was an alpha so we wanted Ghost beside us quickly so we know he's safe. We saw Ghost look up and was going to walk over to the wolf but Namjoon stopped him. He said the alpha was his dad but we all wanted contact to help our wolves calm down. He made his way to us and we immediately were all over him. I could tell Ghost was loving it.

The others moved out of the way and I could have a moment with Ghost. Ghost was lying on his side and I went closer so I was standing over him. He looked at me and I started to lick his cheek. I then moved to the top of his head as he was moving, enjoying the touch.

*Can you be good for me?* I mindlinked him.

*Of course I can. What do you need me to be good for?* He replied.

*Since that other alpha wolf is your dad you can go and say hi. I will tell you when you can come back so we can go home.* I replied. Namjoon was going to disagree but Ghost got up, licked my cheek and ran to where the others were.

5 minutes had passed and we were getting ready to go home untill we heard whimpering. I looked back and saw Ghost walking backwards towards us. I went over and rubbed against him. He was so tense but immediately relaxed after feeling my presence.

*You're okay. What's wrong?* I asked.

*My dad has said I'm being mated with another wolf and I have to go with them.* Ghost said and I growled alerting the others. We got mindlinked by Chan saying Ghost can come with us and that he will explain everything to him. Ghost turned into a puppy and got carried by Jhope.

We made it back to the house and Jin left to get food for us. We all left to get cleaned up and told Ghost to stay on the sofa. When I returned he was gone. The food was placed on the table and some chicken for Ghost. Jin was in the kitchen getting drinks for us while I looked for Ghost and I found him outside a door in the hallway.

*What are you doing outside the library?* I mindlinked him.

*I miss Kookie and my nose led me here. Kookie loves reading so I am betting he will be here a lot.* Ghost said and I smiled because it was the first bit of information we got about Kookie.

*That's okay. You just have a bit of seperation anxiety. You went to a place where you know Kookie loves to try and be close to him. Let's go now, the others are waiting.* I said and Ghost followed me. I felt something between my legs and looked down and found Ghost doing what he did with Namjoon in the doctor's room.

We got into the living room and we started to eat and saw Ghost not eating.

'How come you're not eating?' Jimin asked.

*I dont know how.* Ghost said sadly, putting his head down.

'That's okay. How come?' Jin asked.

*I have never eaten in wolf form. All the food I get is because Kookie eats. But now he isnt here.* Ghost replied.

'That's okay we can teach you.' I said. The plate got handed to Namjoon who broke up a few pieces of chicken. Jin turned into a wolf and showed him how to do it like a demonstration.

When it was Ghost's turn he took it so gently and chewed for a good 3 minutes before swallowing. After eating we all saw Ghost get more tired so we headed to bed. Ghost would be sleeping with myself and Namjoon.

I woke up feeling weight on me and my face wet. I looked down and saw Ghost lying on top of me licking my face. I rolled over so we both were on our sides. Ghost rolled over again and started to back himself into me. His back was against my chest and I put my arm around him snuggling into his fur which is incredibly soft.

We cuddled for a little while before. Namjoon came in.

'Wake up you 2 lazy bones.' Namjoon said. Ghost and i whinned.

'Up. Now. We have a meeting to do which is important and the others need to be woken up.' Namjoon added.

'Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. Fine.' I replied getting up. Ghost sat up watching our moves.

'Can you wake up the others? The doors are opened slightly so you can get in.' Namjoon said to Ghost and he gave a lick on the cheek to Namjoon as an okay and did the same to me before jumping off the bed and going off to wake up the others.

I chuckled and looked at Namjoon who was looking at me. He came to me and kissed me and I cupped his cheeks.

'What was that for?' I asked surprised but blushing.

'I wanted to kiss my mate and I did. Hurry up and get ready.' Namjoon kissed me again and left the room.

I got ready and left to go downstairs. I smelled food so Jin must be up. I saw Jimin and Taehyung getting ready so Ghost must be downstairs which is where I went to get my morning coffee.
