Claude's Pov.

"Sigh..." , I thought, this is honestly annoying, why does it have to be an arrange marriage with a woman whom ive not met before, this is quite tiring, but of course since we had already made the promise i cant back down to this now.

Felix knocked on my door, ''Your majesty your fiance has officially arrived.''

So she's here huh, its to bothersome to escort her so, ''Go escort her and bring her to her room, this all just nonsense anyway.''

As felix heard it, he seemed quite disappointed but he had no choice but to follow his orders, ''Yes your majesty, as you wish.''

What pain, everything is just bothersome, Claude murmured.

After some time...

''I have officially returned your majesty.''

''Yes, now go back to work.''

He stayed for a bit.

As I noticed I questioned him, "What do you want?"

''Are you not gonna ask me about your bride to be?''

''I do not care one bit about this situation, and im already irritated as it is, so leave me be.''

Felix frowned, ''If you say so, your majesty.''

Fast forward to the wedding...

As she entered the wedding room I directly noticed her.

Hmm so thats her huh, indeed she is quite pretty like the rumor stated well not like I care anyway, i just want this night to end.

End of Claudes POV

The Council Meeting.

A week has passed......

Felix asked, ''its been 7 days since your weeding ceremony, arent you gonna visit your wife your majesty?''

''No need, its bothersome.''

"Well if you say so." Saying that with a sigh.

After that Felix went back guarding the door.

Until unexpectedly a guest arrived, felix was surprised by my sudden visit but as he saw me he stated, ''blessing to the moon of the empire'' I nodded and replied, ''may i see your majesty for a bit.''

''Of course that is not a problem'', he opened the door.

Doors Opening.....!

As I entered, I greeted him, ''Greetings to the sun of the empire", I bowed.

Claude nodded and stated, ''what brings you here empress?''

''I am quite sorry for interrupting his majesty even though hes busy from work but i wanted you to sign this few papers for approval your majesty'' , I handed over the papers.

He looked at it and signed it.

''Also i am gonna attend for tommorows meeting if you don't mind.''

He nodded and said, ''do what you must.''

''Thank you your majesty ill just take my leave now.'', and bowed once again.

I immediately left his room  after that I returned from my chambers thinking, ahh that was a close one, he wont get mad at me right?, that was an important matter after all.

The day have passed and the meeting started.

The heads of the noble kept talking back about how the empress didn't even try to get close to his majesty.

''Tch, we were supposed to use her when she get beneficial but in the end shes just a waste, she didn't even tried to talk to his majesty for the past week.''

''I agree she probably just a scared fragile little girl.''

''You are correct were probably gonna be alright dealing with a person such as herself.''

"Indeed."

The servant announced, "The Empress and the Emperor has arrived."

The nobles who attended stood up and bowed stating.

''Blessings to the Sun and Moon of the empire.''

Claude waved his hand signalling that may all be seated.

As Claude sat down i remained standing and started the conversation by, ''Since this is my first time in a meeting, your majesty, may i lead the topic?''

''Sure go ahead.''

I smiled and said.

''Now first of all, let me get things straight..."

I looked around scanning the room full of bastards, "to all the nobles who have any problems with me please raise your hand and express your complaints.''

A complete silence took over the room making the council stiffen and immediately straighten their posture.

''As you may all know i am now the empress of this empire, an equal to the emperor and since I have such high standing I will not tolerate any disgraceful comments towards me, so if you ever say something to me again ill deal with you myself do we make it clear?''

As Claude witnessed the scenario he chuckled and a faint grinned appeared on his face.

I continued, ''Anyways, let us start.''
