The Female lead

1 year later........

Today is finally the day where the female lead appears, ive already done everything i could, now their love story shall begin between Claude and Diana.

Honesty my real plan was actually faking that im sick so i wont disturb their moment but i really wanna see Diana so bad so ill just attend and just watch as the story flows.

''Your majesty the emperor is here to escort you.''

''Yes of course.''

As Claude arrived he then reached out his hand and complimented my appearance, ''you look beautiful.''

''Thank you Claude'', I then accepted his hand.

After going out they then arrived at the performance hall.........

As I arrived I thought.

Let the romance begin!

''We honour this dance performance to our beloved emperor and empress, happy 1 year anniversary.''

The dance started......

As I looked at the stage I thought, Hmm, she'll appear after the mid part of the song... atleast thats what i remember.

Gasp!, there she is, Diana! , its really her... oh my shes really pretty as the novel illustration!!!, amazingggg, really how could Claude not fall for her? shes just perfect.

Claudes POV:

This is truly bothersome but the brightside is im glad i get to spend my time with her.

The dance started......

he looked at Veronica.

She seems excited, is this her first time seeing a dance performance? he then continued to look at the show.

Diana showed up.

I looked at her again but this time I was quite shocked at her reaction, I saw her eyes sparkle and her face blush looking at the dancer.

It left me in shock, huh whats this? I then looked back at the performance and I thought she never even once looked at me like that but she got Veronica to gaze at her like that by her dancing? , instead of watching it all he could think about was the way Veronica looked at her.

End of POV

The performance ended, I  joined as the crowd clapped.

I then said, ''truly beautiful, what an amazing performance.''

Even the dance was way better than how the novel said it to be. 

Claude got ticked while hearing that.

He grabbed my hand and said,    ''Veronica, let's head back.''

Huh?, what is he talking about isn't he supposed to introduce himself to Diana right about now?

I resisted, ''Claude wait!''

I wanna make a good excuse.

''Umm lets meet the dancers first and thanked them.''

He got more annoyed.

''No need well just send them a letter and write our thanks.''

But what about Diana?.........

We then went back to the palace.

At her bed chambers.

Honesty what was that! Why is this happening the story should go where Claude asked her for her name and they introduce themselves.

This is not following the novel at all, was my change of personality caused this much of alteration?, well either way lets just wait for now.

A few days later.........

Oh my god, what is he doing here isnt he supposed to flirt with Diana right about now? what is he doing in my chambers.

Fine if you wont make a move, i will.

''Claude?'' , i said.

''Hmm what is it?''

''You know last time at the festival?''

''What about it?''
