Chan's POV

I've liked Felix for awhile now. But I am to scared to tell him. I know he likes someone else. He wouldn't like someone like me.

"Come on ! Let's go swimming today ?"

"Ehhh.. There's gonna be a lot of people there since summer just started."

"Come on Chan !! Please !!!"

"Don't you have something to do today ? Like going to your sisters birthday ?"

"OH SHIT !! THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME !! I GOTTA GO BYE CHAN !"

Felix waved bye as he ran home. I was planning on telling him I liked him today.. But was I really sure I wanted to confess today ? I mean it could possibly ruin our friendship. I don't want that to happen. But I don't wanna hide my true feelings anymore... AISH Im just confused, I'll just go on a walk. Maybe that will help me get my mind off of it. I go back upstairs to get my cap.

I go downstairs to get a water from the fridge.

"Chan-ah ? Where are you going ?"

"I'm going on a walk."

"Oh okay. Well you be careful okay ?"

"I will mom !" I go to my mom, I give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

I go to the front door and put my shoes on.. Suddenly I hear a knock, who could that be ? It can't be Felix, he's at a birthday party..

I open the door to see.. Felix ?!

"What are you doing here ?"

"Hi Chan ! I came by to drop off some cake for you and your family. It's white cake with strawberry filling ! Your favorite !"

"Oh ! Thank you !" I take the big box of cake and walk inside.

Felix followed me in and greeted my mom. I place the box of cake on the counter in the kitchen. Did he buy this just for me and my family ? Or was it the cake his family didn't eat ?

"A newly bought cake ?"

"Yeah ! Thank you for being a great friend Chan ! My family bought a bunch of different cakes for my sisters birthday.. A LOT. I saw this and it reminded me of you so I decided to drop it off !"

"Wow.. Thank you Felix ! I really appreciate it !"

"No problem chan !! I hope you like it ! Anyways I have to get back home before my parents get mad.."

I laugh as I put the clear lid on top of the cake.

"Alright Lix. I'll walk you back yeah ? After I put the cake in the fridge."

"Alright !"

I pick up the cake and walk to the fridge, I place the cake in the fridge. I turn around as I'm closing the fridge door.

I didn't realize Lix followed me. I turned around and bumped into him..

"YAH !!"

Felix pulled on my shirt to stop himself from falling backwards. I wasn't standing in a stable position to stop Lix from falling, we both fell and I landed on top of him inches away from his face. My ears got really red and it felt like it was boiling hot.. I never seen Lix this close before..

Before I knew it, I got lost in his dark brown eyes.

"Chan ?"

"..."

"Chan !"

"..."

"CHAN !!"

I snapped back into reality and I realized what had just happened. I shot up backing away from Lix and hiding my face with my shirt.

"I.. am sorry Lix."

Felix gets up and crawls towards me to pull down my shirt from my face.

"Hey. It's okay. Don't be sorry it was an accident."

He smiled. Man, his smile is so beautiful. I love it when he smiles. He gets up and lends his hand to me, I take his hand and lift myself up.

"Come on. I'll walk you back."

I walk out of the kitchen as Felix follows me. He waves bye to my mom and smiles. As we're walking back Lix asks me..

"Chan ?"

"Yeah ?"

"...I need help."

"With ??"

"Confessing."

Oh man.. Who does he like ? I bet it isn't me.. But I'll help even though it will hurt.

"Alright.. Well who's this person ?"

"Like I'd tell you. You'd obviously tell her."

Her ..? So he's straight.

I laugh and try to brush it off. As we walk along Lix's driveway.

"Welp we're here."

"Thanks again Chan." Lix smiles

Felix's dad comes rushing out.

"FELIX ! WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU ?! YOU SAID YOU WOULD DROP OFF THE CAKE AND BE BACK. ITS BEEN 30 MINUTES."

"Sir it was my fault. I'm sorry."

His dad sighs.

"Don't. Let it happen again Christopher."

"Yes sir." I turn to Lix

"See you tomorrow ?"

Felix turns to me. He smiles and nods.

I smile back.

"Bye Lix. Bye Sir."

"Bye Chan !!"

Felix's dad just nods his head and smiles.

I turn around and walk home thinking about what Felix asked me. He likes someone else ..? How could I be so stupid and like him, I knew he wouldn't like me back. Now my heart hurts..

I get home and walk upstairs.

I go into my room and I fall forward on my bed.

"How could I think someone like Lix would like someone like me."

I ended up falling asleep. A few hours later my phone vibrated and I woke up.

I get a text.
