Chan's POV
I had no one to go to, no family .. I knew if I texted my mom she wouldn't reply til later, Hannah .. I wish I could tell her .. But instead I called my dad.
"Hello ?"
"Hey dad .."
"Hey son. You sound upset. Is something wrong ?"
"Can I talk to you dad ?"
"Of course."
I told my dad everything that happened.
"My son, things don't happen the way you want them to. Life doesn't give us what we want, it puts us through so many struggles and it throws a lot at us. But don't give up, alright ?"
"Yes, sir."
"Where are you now ?"
"A park with my duffel. Where are you ? Work ?"
"No son, we're in Korea."
I shot up.
"No way !"
"Yes we are. You can stay with us at the hotel."
"Thanks dad. Send me the name of the hotel and I'll walk that way."
"Okay son. See you soon."
My dad hung up and sent me the name of the hotel.
About 30 minutes later I made it to the hotel, I walked in and walked upstairs to find my parents room.
After 5 minutes I finally did. I knocked on the door to see Lucas that answered.
"CHAN !"
"Hey buddy !"
I crouched and hugged Lucas as I stood up with him in my arms.
I walked inside carrying Lucas, to see Hannah sitting on the couch snacking and on her phone, with my parents working at the table. I put Lucas down and he ran into the room to continue what he was doing.
My mom looked my way and saw me.
"Chan-ah ?"
"Hey mom."
My mom stood up from her chair, walked to me and hugged me tight.
"Mind if I stay here for awhile ?"
"Of course you can have the couch."
"Thanks mom."
I pulled from the hug, walked to the couch and sat by Hannah looking at her phone. She then looked at me and got scared.
"CHRIS !"
I laughed.
Hannah then hugged me tight.
"What're you watching ?"
"TikTok"
"Like always." I said as I ruffled her hair.
Fast forward to the next day.
Hyunjin called me at 5 am.
"Hello ?" I said in a sleepy and quiet voice
"Chan you still gonna help today ?"
"Oh crap yeah, lemme get ready."
"Are you at the dorm ? I can wait inside."
"No .."
"Oh why ?"
"Personal."
"Ahh okay, I'll meet you at the location."
