Yawn~ That was a good night's rest.
I got eagerly got up before remembering the awkward scene of last night.
Honestly, I was so confused and startled by the pirate captain's strong persona that I didn't even think to consider what she might be going through.
And then she ran up to me like it was the most natural thing. Even for me, I couldn't help but stand there awkwardly trying to comfort her.
She fell asleep crying in my arms like that, so I set her back down in her bed. She should be up by now, or getting up at least.
It's strange, ever since I came to this world, I haven't really thought about home much, nor have I ever felt regret for leaving such a peaceful planet.
The only one regret I had was the girl I had a crush on. No, perhaps now that she's gone I should probably admit that I loved her.
Well, she's gone, and we may never see each other again.
Still, thinking back to the time I asked that shitty god about her, it felt like he was lying, or maybe he was holding a piece of information from me?
Maybe next time I see him, I'll ask him and see how he responds.
Well, I can't think about that much right now, right now I should focus on dealing with this pirate girl and the treasure on the island.
Today is the fated day I get my hands on whatever is on here.
What's that? Your wondering how I'm going to carry it with me?
Isn't it obvious? I have storage magic!
Not. I'm a creature of the sea, what use would storage magic have?
I say that, but apparently one of my water magic spells can do something similar.
And there's your answer. Water magic.
It's apparently really hard to use and master though, so I should be careful when using it.
As I thought that, a groan came from the pirate captain's tent.
As she exited the tent, I couldn't help but notice how messy her appearance was, even more so compared to yesterday.
She wore a large mens shirt with a pirate coat dangling off her shoulders, she had quite a lot of bed hair as well, and her pants were missi...Let's not think about that.
She noticed my presence and give a sharp glare at me.
"What are you staring at?!" She yelled.
Well, I guess it's back to the tough pirate captain persona huh? To be honest, I did find her breaking down her defenses and opening up a little kinda cute, but oh well.
She's not my concern right now anyway.
"Nothing. I just realized we haven't given our names yet." I replied with a wry smile.
Although it was for a quick second, I could see the captain blush slightly.
"Your right, it's only proper for a gentleman such as yourself to give your name first, isn't it?" She said warily.
After she had said that, it suddenly occured to me. My old name was meaningless here.
I should have a new name, for a new identity. Although for some reason, I feel like sharing my old name, I don't think it would be very good to hear people remind of that old life.
Very well, time to give myself a name!
After a few seconds of thinking, nothing.
Wait, I got it!
