Big trouble

When I got home for school I called Mally and told her what happened with Ted.
Mally: Hey why are you crying
Me: Ummm.... So I have something important to tell you. You might get mad but don't.
Mally: Ok shoot
Me: so I broke up with Ted
Mally: Really thank the gods
Me: Well when I did it he yelled at me and started to push me then I told him I couldn't handle the way he acted anymore.......
I started to cry really hard because talking about makes me feel useless
Mally: Wait he pushed you and did I see a bruise on your face during school what happened
Me: H-he hit m-me really hard
Mally: wow has he done it before hit you
Me: Y-yes ever since we started d-dating he hits me every time I do something he doesn't like when I tell him I'm busy with you or busy with Noah
Mally: And your telling me this now
Me: Y-yes Noah is making me Im gonna go talk to him in a bit but I don't know
Mally: You don't know what a guy that has been hitting you and you stayed with him really Kassy you're smarter than that.
Me: I know it was hard because he would threaten me and he would threaten to hurt Noah if I were to break up with him and get with Noah. So I got scared
Mally: Are you telling anybody else
Me: Yes Noah and I are telling the principle tomorrow please don't tell anyone about this
Mally: fine but only because I love you and know that you'll do the right thing
We talked for a bit then my mom called me down for dinner so I had to hang up. After dinner I got ready to go out with Noah then he came and picked me up. I couldn't stop thinking about what had happened with Ted. My friends tried to help me but I don't know what to do. Noah started talking after a few minutes of silence. You look really pretty tonight he said I could tell he was trying to get my mind off of Ted. You think so I said. Yes you're always so beautiful he said I could hear your crazy if you think you're ugly in his voice. You can always hear it in his voice. Well you look very handsome I said. The whole way to the coffee shop we were quiet. The vibe in the car was that we wanted to tell eachother something but it was too awkward. When we got to the coffee shop we ordered our coffee. Let me pay you payed the last time we went out, Noah said. No let me pay you always pay and rarely let me pay I said. Awww you are the cutest couple the cashier said. Ummm were not together were just really good friends Noah said with the cutest smile on his face. Then my mind processed what he said I couldn't believe I had just gotten friend zoned. We sat down with our coffee after I had caved to let him pay. I was very upset that I had been friend zoned but I didnt show it after my awful day. I wanted to have some fun with my best friend. I didnt want anything to ruin it. We sat at our table for 2 minutes trying to figure out what to say to each other. So have you talked to Mally? He said, trying to make conversation. Umm.....yeah I did she never liked the way he treated me. I started so she was happy until I told her what happened. Oh well let's forget about Ted for a bit let's talk about something else Noah said with the cutest smile on his face. I couldn't help but wonder about what Karissa said when I was at my locker. Karissa told me he liked me but I didnt believe her. Who are you taking to homecoming Noah? I asked. Oh umm........I hadn't thought about that yet. I could tell he had just didnt want to talk about it. Hey Kassy wanna go to the peer I have something I wanna tell you. Sure I said.

It was a beautiful night and the full moon reflected off the still water. We sat on the edge of the peer. Kassy, you know how we've been friends since kindergarten. He says. Yes, I remember we fell for each other and instantly became friends I said. Sometimes things change between friends like love or hate. He says. Noah, are you telling me you hate? I asked him a little bit confused. No no he said it just in 7th grade I started liking you more than a friend. I was so stund so I did something dumb and said really or are you trying to make me feel better after my crappy day. No I love you Kassy. He said. So I did the only thing I could think of at the moment I kissed him. I love you Noah I just never knew how to tell you. Wow he said dazed. We sat there for a bit not talking when finally he said kassy can we not tell anyone about the kiss or about this. Why you were my first kiss I was gonna tell Mally. I said getting mad. I just feel like it would be best after Ted. He said. I don't care about Ted I'm done with him I just wanna be happy with you and you wanna keep it secret really I said almost yelling. Kassy please understand that I'm- I interrupted him No take me home now. I got up and walked to the car. I was half way down the peer when he yelled Kassy wait, I'm sorry.
