Narrator's POV

Today was the band's gig, everyone was obviously so excited. So many people were coming, it was gonna be amazing. The day before, everyone slept over at Y/n's house since she had the biggest house and so that they could all get ready together. Y/n was the first one awake. She made herself some coffee and started getting ready.

She wanted to look absolutely amazing for tonight, so she showered, put rollers in her hair and decided to choose an outfit. She was in the mood for something provocative, so the shorter the better. She ended up finding this red top to match a black leather mini skirt and decided to add a bunch of accessories and base her makeup around the outfit. Once she was done, she put everything in her bag and kept the rollers in her hair until the last minute.

She left the room, greeted the others who finally decided to wake up. The boys had breakfast while Y/n was still making sure everything was ready. They drove to the venue, got started with soundcheck and spent the next few hours practicing. An hour or so before the gig, everyone started getting ready. Y/n took the rollers out of her hair, put on her outfit, her favorite perfume and did her makeup. Once she was done, she turned to her members, "How do I look?" she asked.

As expected, she received a plethora of compliments ranging from "You look nice" to "I would tattoo your face on my left butt cheek if I could". She smiled and sat down while the others were getting ready until Eddie walked up to her. "Hey Y/n, can you do my eyeliner real quick?" he asked with an eyeliner in hand.

She nodded and sat him down while she stood in front of him. Y/n was struggling to draw it on from this angle, she said fuck it and sat on his lap while carefully drawing it on.. While she was drawing it, she heard the door open and someone come. They both turned to the door to meet Billy who somehow made it backstage.

Y/n, flustered, stood up and didn't say anything, but Eddie had balls, quite literally "Hey man, you need to leave you're not supposed to be here". Billy stayed right where he was, putting his hands in his pockets. "Anyone got a lighter here?".

Y/n, without saying a word but obviously kind of embarrassed, put her hand in her shirt, reached down, pulled a lighter out of her bra and gave it to Billy. This made Eddie laugh "You keep your lighter in your bra?". Y/n lightly chuckled, "I don't have any pockets, what do you want me to do, shove it up my ass?".

Eddie and Y/n both laughed at her dumb comment, Billy watched, not reacting at all, yet he was intrigued. Realizing that the Y/n that was interacting with her friends was totally different from the Y/n he interacted with late at night. To be honest, he preferred this Y/n more. She finally got her lighter back put it back in her bra (author's note: I do this all the time lmao). Y/n went back to finishing Eddie's eyeliner.

At last, everyone was ready to go on stage, before that, they couldn't forget the tradition, take a few shot before going on stage (author's note: inspired by real events lol). They all excitedly ran on stage, being welcomed by everyone's screams and applause. Without further ado, they all got started. Like always Y/n delivered the best performance ever. When she was on stage, it was like she was possessed, like she embodied the song itself, in such a hypnotic way. People couldn't help watching her, watching her every move, she was like a siren.

They played song after song for so long but no one was bored, how could they get bored when Y/n was performing. When their last song came, they were going to make it worth it, the last song was always the highlight of the show. Not sure what got into her, Y/n took of her shirt, singing her heart out while her hair swayed side to side.

Everyone there was mesmerized by such a beautiful sight. How she sang with such passion, the way her hair moved, the way her body rolled, she was like a snake, a hypnotic, charming snake. Once they finished the last song, everyone went absolutely crazy, clapping, shouting, whistling like there was no tomorrow. The band felt overjoyed, the fact that people loved their work, their passion so much was fulfilling. They got off the stage, went to change and left. Outside, a few people were waiting. The Corroded Coffins were invited to some party. They all gladly went there.

At the house party, they were all cheered on like heroes. Y/n left her friends and went to try the Keg stand. Not only was it fun, she wanted to break the record. She got into a handstand and had someone hold her legs while she drank, and drank, and drank for about 63 seconds. She got down and almost lost balance but someone was holding her. She was carried on a guy's shoulder, going around telling people Hawkins had a new "Keg queen". It was so fun until the boys reached Billy and his girlfriend. He seemed cool but his smile dropped the second he was told his record got broken. He looked up at her "Is that so?". He raised an eyebrow.

She wanted to bury herself deep in a hole but decided not to. She just did a gig, broke a keg stand record and her confidence, that was usually pathetically low, was higher. Probably with the alcohol's help. Billy took this as a challenge, threw his cigarette and walked to the beer keg.

He got up and stayed at long as he possibly could, his pride giving him the drive and energy he needed. He ended up breaking her record by one second. This time her smile dropped. Y/n had a competitive nature and refused to ever lose, especially knowing she was so close.

She got on the stand as Billy held her legs up. No matter how much her head hurt, she continued drinking. By now, she had broken both record by far, very far. She was now at 78 seconds which you might think is not humanly possible but you'll be surprised to see how strong the need for external validation can make you. At that point, she wanted to stop, she knew it was time to stop because if she continued drinking she would puke everywhere. So she gave up and got down. Once again cheered by everyone, even Billy who was a sore looser but couldn't deny the fact that a 78 second long keg stand is indeed pretty badass.

At this point Y/n was on the thin, very thin line between happy tipsy and completely hammered. Which means that one more drink and she was off the deep end. Y/n had pretty high tolerance since she has been drinking for a long while but the fact that she drank so much on an empty stomach made for a technical coma.
