Billy went home after a long drive around town. He was mad but mostly frustrated, at his ex for hurting Y/n, at himself for fucking things up when it was going so well and at the entire world, because he wished things would go his way, but they never really did.

He eventually ended up falling asleep but was later woken up by Max who threw pillows at him to wake him up. He jumped out of bed, confused and angry. His sister sat him down to talk:

"

- I literally just talked to Y/n and apart from the shit show that you pulled yesterday guess what happened

- What?

- Robin Buckley asked her out

- Who?

- The girl that works at scoops Ahoy

- Short brown hair?

- Yes her

- I thought Y/n was straight. And what about it anyways?

- She swings both ways. What about it? Have you seen Robin? She's gorgeous, she's nice and she treats her like a goddess

- Whatever

- Not whatever. I know you like her, so go apologize and make things right. Because she's thinking about saying yes. You were finally starting to fix things, do you want to lose her that easily?

- No but-

- No buts, grow some balls and go talk to her before it's too late.

- Don't talk to me like this

- I don't care, get out of bed, shower and go talk to her

- Why do you even care?

- Because she likes you, you know she likes you so much and you like her too, I don't understand why you won't make a move. She makes you happy and a better person, she's good for you and you're good for her. I don't want you to waste that chance, that's all

- Alright, I'll get out of bed.

- Thank you, hurry up

"

Billy got out of bed, showered, got dressed and left to go see Y/n by orders of his little sister. When he arrived at her house he could see that another car was already parked there which was surprising. He knocked on the door to see Robin open the door which took him aback.

"

- What are you doing here? He asked

- Man what are you doing here?

- Robin! Who's at the door? Y/n came walking towards the door, her hair on one side and putting earrings on, she looked absolutely stunning

- Hi. He said

- Oh, Billy. This is not a good time right now

- Yeah, I'm taking her out. Let's go? Robin gave Y/n her arm

- Yes, bye Billy

"

They both left, leaving Billy standing here like an idiot in front of a now empty house. Felling mad and disappointed, he walked back to his car, lit himself a cigarette and went on yet another drive. He needed to clear his head, something that happened more and more these days.

He drove around, breaking each and every driving law possible and imaginable just for some adrenaline. He couldn't get this image out of his mind, Robin and Y/n, hand in hand. Going on a date. What the fuck? He couldn't accept this. Y/n was his girl, he wasn't going to let some random loser who works at scoops ahoy take his girl away, never in a million years.

He spend the rest of the day driving around in his car while thinking about Y/n. What is she doing right now? Hoping the date would go terribly.

Unfortunately for him, the date went great. They had some food, went to the skating rink and really bonded with each other.

Both girls had so much fun with each other and already planned on another hangout. Robin was so happy to be hanging out with Y/n, but realized something.

What she felt for Y/n, that "love" wasn't really love, it was purely platonic. She wanted to hangout with Y/n and talk to her and have fun with her, but doesn't want to kiss her or date her. All along, all Robin ever wanted was to be friends with Y/n, but unsure about her feelings, she thought she had a crush.

On the other hand, Y/n also had a great time, she was happy to be hanging out with Robin, who was just simply amazing. Still, she didn't feel anything towards Robin, nothing that could be compared to what she feels for Billy. She wondered how he was doing today, especially after what happened between them.

These two girls got along great, like two soon-to-be best friends. They weren't really compatible to date anyways.

Deep down she was hoping he would apologize and become better and hurry up and date her, it was demoralizing to see that she had men and women ready to kiss her feet and do anything for her and here she was, waiting for him to come to her. She stood on her idea to not go to him first, he fucked up, that's his problem, now if he really, really wants her. Then he better get his ass up, put his pride aside and give her a worthy, genuine apology.

She's not so sure that "the" Billy Hargrove would actually apologize, let alone to her, but if he wasn't going to treat her right, like she deserved to be treated. Another guy would, so he better not miss his chance.

She went home, took off her makeup, showered, put pajamas on and spent the rest of the night doing whatever to make time pass as best as she could.
