On Billy's side, he still hasn't left his car, still driving around like a maniac. Billy eventually stopped at a bar and went inside, ordering enough liquor so compensate for all the blood in his body, which is, well, a lot.He drank and drank until he wasn't in a position to even stand still anymore. He left and went to his car. At this moment, like always and no matter what, all he could think about was her. She had bewitched him, body, mind and soul, to the point where, despite the fact that he was drunk out of his mind, he still thought about her. She was ingrained in his mind, like a tree, impossible to uproot, therefore, impossible to get out of his head.
He wanted to see her, so, lacking any kind of rational thinking and impulse control, he simply drove to her house, without any accident thankfully. He walked, fell and walked again as best as he could to her front door and knocked. Leaning his entire body weight on the door. He fell to the floor the instant she opened it.
Y/n first gasped in shock and then helped him stand up. "Oh Billy you're so drunk right now", she said with a soft voice. Her voice was like music to his ears, he knew he wouldn't go to heaven, but on earth, she was the closest thing he could ever get. He knew that the angels would look down at him in jealousy, because right now, he had her and they didn't.
She walked him to the couch and tried to give him some water that he refused. He didn't want anything, he only wanted her. He stared at her, with his blue, glossy eyes, reddish face and a dumb smile. Y/n sighed, "You're an idiot Billy", she stared back at him, admiring his pretty face.
"Well I'm your idiot aren't I?" he chuckled. Y/n laughed, "I'm not answering that". She stood up but he held her hand, stopping her from going anywhere. "Don't go, stay with me" he pleaded.
Y/n sat back down, exasperated. "You obviously can't go home like that, you can take the couch. I'll be in my room if you need me. There's a bucket here, don't you dare puke anywhere". He nodded at whatever she was saying without listening, absolutely mesmerized by her beauty.
He stayed on the couch, watching her walk away into her room. He stayed there for a moment, enjoying the buzz, he dozed off for a minute and woke up back up, confused. He stood up, took his shoes and shirt off and went to Y/n's room.
She was peacefully asleep on her side. He crawled into the bed, covering the both of them with a blanket. This sudden movement woke her up but she didn't budge. She wanted to enjoy the moment, though she knew he was drunk and not really in control of his acts nor his movements, she still wanted to enjoy the moment. It felt real.
She never wanted to admit it to herself, or anyone else for that matter but she loved him, more than before. She really did, and she hated that. Because feelings as strong as hers were like a wildfire, not easy, damn near impossible to take out, and so easy to make stronger. She genuinely thought she got over him, at least that's what she told her friends, but she was so wrong. She was far, very far from being over him. All he had to do was change, a little bit. Become better, become nicer. Treat her and others with basic decency. Not be an impolite, rude and cocky asshole. It honestly didn't take much, but it was a good start.
The Billy that she now loved wasn't the old Billy. It was a brand new version of him, who evolved as she did. Both greatly changed and improved. Y/n loved and respected herself, he loved her more than he ever loved any living thing on this planet.
Both ended up falling asleep, warm, happy and comfortable in each other's arms. They perfectly fit with each other. Like they were specifically molded to be with the other. They were literally made for each other. From the way their hands perfectly held together, to the way their lips would merge together, or how their souls were like two pieces of puzzle that were made for each other.
They were soulmates, no one could come between them, and they would be punished greatly if they tried.
