Chases POV

I woke up to my alarm blaring in my ear. I groan as I try to find my phone from under my pillows. I press stop on my alarm and scroll through my phone for a bit. After a few minutes I sat up in my bed looking around at the mess in my room. I look out the window seeing the sunrise making the sky orange. I kick my legs off my bed, having my feet hit the ground. I walk over to the window and open it a bit. You know trynna air it out a bit. I walk out of my room and into the washroom. I take a quick shower washing everything I need to and brushing my teeth.

I get out and put on my outfit for school. I accessorise with my rings and chains, I take my drumsticks from off my bedside table and put them in my back pocket. I add my worn converse and adjust myself and my outfit in the mirror.

"This is as good as it's gonna get." I mumble to myself as I shake the mop of hair I have.

I walk down stairs into the main part of my house as I hear the rest of my family up. I look into the kitchen and see my dad eating a bowl of cereal, I glance into the living room to see my mom watching the news with my little sister. "Good morning Chase." I hear my dad say to me.

"Morning." I grumble as I walk over to him. I go into the fridge and scan to see what we have. I settled for cold pizza from yesterday's dinner.

"Honey, didn't you wear that yesterday?" I hear my mom say as she sits at the kitchen table with my sister.

I look down at my outfit and realise I was. "Ummmm no?" I said to her, she just shook her head and smiled at me.

"Can I practice with the band in the garage after school today?" I asked my parents.

"Of course, but no later than 11, okay?" My dad said as he sat at the table. My mom nodded in agreement.

"Okay. Thank you." I smiled at them. I checked the time on my phone and decided to leave for school, it was still early but I'm allowed to use the music room in the mornings if I go early. "I'm leaving for school now." I walked over to the front door and grabbed my bag from the floor.

"Why don't you eat with us Chase?" My mom looked at me.

"I will tomorrow I promise." I walked over to my mom and gave her a smile.

"Okay honey, have a great day." She gave me a genuine smile back.

I walked over to my sister and ruffled her hair. "Bye Avery." I said to her as I kissed the top of her head.

"Bye dad, love you all!" I yelled as I walked out the door. I threw my backpack over my shoulders, walking down the steps of my house, beginning my walk to school. I didn't live far so I didn't mind the walk.

I put on my headphones, pressing shuffle on my playlist. I had to skip a few songs before I finally found the one I liked. Landing on God Save The Queen by Sex Pistols, I put my hpone in my jean pocket and shoving my hands in my sweater pockets. I always get weird looks as I walk literally anywhere in town. It doesn't bother me anymore, not as much as it used to at least.

As I was standing at the red light waiting to cross I felt something being thrown at me, I ignored it and continued waiting. I felt something again, I turned to see two guys in my grade sitting on a bench. I took off my headphones to try and hear what they were saying.

"You deaf freak?" One guy said, walking up to me.

"No." I chuckled. "I don't think so at least."

"Don't play with us, freak." The other said walking up. "Huh where are your little friends?"

"Oh you mean your mom? Ha you should've I was with her all last night. She was going 'Oh Chase oh yeah baby right there Chase yes fuck me like that~' she came like three times-" I smirked.
