I woke up in the lot curled up next to ponyboy I couldnt help but smile it's been so hard to be near him since I developed this crush on him. I then realized it was late and pony was supposed to be home hours ago I quickly shook him awake "PONY WAKE UP" I yell he jolts awake what he said it's late I said very late. Ugh he said getting up "Darry is going to be mad at me I have to get home"... I was hesitant but asked him hey pony can I come with you to the house please of course he said. As we started walking to the house me and pony hands slightly touch I looked up at him and saw'll him blush at least I hope he did.
Ponyboy POV
When me and johnny where walking back to my house I couldnt help but blush when our hands touched I hope he didn't notice. Once we got to my house I was sweating thankfully johnny was able to calm me down "it's going to be ok" johnny said. When we walked into the house darry stood up from his chair so fast yelling " WHERE THE HELL HAVE YOU BEEN" I flinched when he said that I reached for Johnny's hand which thankfully he took. I took a deep breath and told him me and johnny accidentally fell asleep in the lot and we didn't mean to I saw'll the anger in his eyes turn to relief... please be more careful next time he said has he went to his room yelling good night love you to me, soda and johnny. Soda then go up from the couch and grabbed a pillow and blanket and said he'll take the couch so me and johnny could share the bed in our room before I could protest johnny said thanks and starting walking towards the room so I said good night to soda and followed Johnny. Once we got to the room johnny was taking off his jacket gosh he's so cute. As we laid next to each other in bed I couldn't help but wish I could kiss him. I look over at Johnny and told him I had to tell him something and he had to tell me something to that's when my heart started to race.
