~elevens return~

the phone started ringing and nancy ran over and grabbed it, throwing it at the ground. "shit, he's gonna know," i said. "it's just a phone, it could be coming from anywhere right?" steve asked. we all looked around and the others walked inside with will and set him in his room. "they know don't they?" i asked. "yeah," hopper said. steve grabbed his bat and stepped closer to me. "do you know how to use this?" hopper asked jonathon, holding up a gun.

"what?" jonathon asked. "can you use this?" he repeated. "i can," nancy said and grabbed it. i looked around and all the older kids and adults had weapons so i grabbed the closest thing i saw. unfortunately that was a book. "why are you holding a book?" dustin asked. "i don't know, okay?" i said.
"where are they?" max asked. we heard a loud noise and all turned to our right. "what are they doing?" nancy asked. we all kept turning to wherever the noises were coming from when all the sudden one of them came flying through the window.

we all stared at the lifeless demogorgan on the ground. "holy shit," dustin said. "is it dead?" max asked. hopper kicked it and it didn't move. the door creaked and we all turned towards it. the lock turned and unhooked. the door opened slowly and someone started to walk in. i didn't recognize her but soon knew she wasn't a threat. mike stepped forward and they looked at each other like a huge weight had been lifted off their shoulders. "eleven,"

"mike," she said and they hugged. "i never gave up on you, i called you every night. every night for," mike said. "353 days," she said. "i heard," she added. "why didn't you tell me you were there?" he asked. "that you were okay,"

"cause i wouldn't let her," hopper said. "what the hell is this where have you been?" he asked. "where have you been," she said. he hugged her and kissed her head and everyone set down their weapons. "you've been hiding her, you've been hiding her this whole time!" mike said and hit his arm. "hey, let's talk. alone." hopper said and they left the room.

lucas and dustin went over to eleven and hugged her tightly. "we missed you," lucas said. "i missed you too," she said. "we talked about you pretty much every day," dustin said and smiled. she stared at him for a second. she touched his mouth and he moved away. "teeth," she said. "what?" he asked. "you have teeth," she replied. "oh, you like these pearls?" he asked and purred at her. lucas just shook his head. i laughed and put my arm around dustin. "oh, this is my sister! blake!" dustin said.

"it's nice to finally meet you eleven," i said. "you're, dustin's sister?" she asked and i nodded. she walked over and hugged me and i was shocked but hugged back. she moved away as max walked over to us. "eleven? hey um, i'm max, i've heard a lot about you," she said and eleven ignored her and walked over to joyce. i turned to steve and walked over to him. "you've met her before right?" i asked as they walked out to see will. "yeah, i've never really talked to her though," he said.

"do you know why she ignored max?" i whispered. he just shrugged. "beats me," he said. el and joyce walked back in the room and joyce grabbed the close gate paper. "you opened this gate before, right?"joyce asked. "yes," eleven said. "do you think, if we got you back there, that you could close it?" she asked.

we all went into the kitchen and stood around. "it's not like it was before, it's grown, a lot and that's considering that we can get in there that place is crawling with those dogs," hopper said. "demo-dogs," dustin said. "i'm sorry what?" hopper asked. "i said uh, demo-dogs, like demogorgan and dogs you out them together and it sounds pretty badass," dustin explained. "how is this important right now?" hopper asked. "it's not im sorry," he said. "i can do it," el said. "you're not hearing me," hopper said. "i am hearing you, i can do it," she said.

"even if el can do it there's still one problem, if the brain dies the body dies," mike said. "i thought that was the whole point," max said. "it is, but if we're right about this, i mean if el can close the gate and kills the mind flayers army," he said. "wills apart of that army," lucas said. "closing the gate will kill him," he finished and we all sighed. we walked to wills room and joyce looked around. "he likes it cold," she said. "what?" i asked.

"that's what will kept telling me, he likes it cold," she said. "we keep giving it what it wants," she said after closing the window. "if this is a virus, and will is the host then," nancy said. "then we need to make the host uninhabitable," jonathon said. "so if he likes it cold," nancy said. "we need to burn it out of him," joyce said. "we have to do it somewhere he doesn't know this time," mike said. "yeah somewhere far away," dustin added.

hopper told them where to go and what to do carrying will out to the car. joyce, nancy, and jonathon all decided to go with. nancy and steve were in the backyard looking for heaters and i just sat there on the kitchen counter as mike and el talked. max came over and sat next to me on the counter as i looked out at steve and nancy.

"you okay?" she asked. "yeah why?" i replied. "you can't take your eyes off of steve and nancy," she pointed out. i looked at her and she raised an eyebrow. "you guys looked pretty cosy in the bus," she said. "nah," i said. "yah," she said. "i don't know, i haven't really thought about it," i said and laid my head on her shoulder. "i haven't even looked at another guy since i met billy, and we were like 9," i said. "you and billy broke up, you can move on," she said. "he said if anyone touched what's 'his' they'd be dead," i said doing air quotes with my hands.

"maybe i should have a little talk with his dad," she said. "i'd be on board if i knew his dad wasn't gonna hit him," i said. "why do you care about him so much?" she asked. "i don't know, he stuck around, i think that's what made me so attached," i shrugged. steve walked back inside and he looked at me. "looks like we're babysitting," he said. "great," i replied.
