You walked into the locker room to change out of your cheer uniform. Everyone else was gone as you had stayed behind to put some of the equipment away.

You opened up your locker and found a small pink note. The handwriting was neat, and the words were sweet.

Your hair looked really good today.

It made you smile and you brought it home after changing.

That was about a month ago.

You weren't sure who was giving you the notes, but they lit up your day.

They were usually a short compliment on your appearance, or a congratulations on something you did. Occasionally, however, there were really bad cheesy pick-up lines.

Sometimes they were stuck onto your desk, sometimes they were in your hallway locker, and other times in your gym locker. You even found a couple in your backpack once.

You were embarrassed to admit it, but you had grown a small crush on whoever was behind it all. They were so funny, sweet, and you liked that they didn't just like you physically. You wanted to know more about them.

You also didn't want to tell anyone at first, but you felt like you should at least thank the person, but you weren't sure how you'd find them.

You decided to talk to one of your friends, Sasha.

She was in most of the classes you'd receive the notes and she was on the cheer team with you, she had to have seen something!

"Saaaasha!" You called as you put a hand on her shoulder, almost falling onto her. Practice just ended and you caught her outside.

"yes?" She questioned, turning around with a small smile.

"Can you help me with something?" You stood up straight and walked side by side with her.

"yeah, what's up?"

"soo basically i need your help finding someone." You answered vaguely.

She furrowed her eyebrows, "uh, why?"

"Someone has been leaving these super cute notes for me and i just wanna thank them!" Your arms waved around to show your excitement.

Sasha smiled, her cheeks a little rosy - from the cold of course, October chill - as she pressed the button on the pole so you both could cross the street soon.

"alright, do you know anything about them?"

You frowned, "i mean, they've left them in the locker room a few times, sometimes on my desk in math and history, so they're probably in our class."

Sasha nodded, "anywhere else?"

"backpack, science, but you're not in that class."

She nodded again, "well, most obvious plan, just stake out the area to catch 'em in the act." Sasha shrugged and began crossing.

You smiled, "ohhh! yeah that makes sense!"

Sasha just laughed at you, "okay, my house is this way, i'll see you tomorrow, yeah?"

You giggled, "okay! bye Sasha!!" You practically sang as you began running in the opposite direction to your house.

You got to school early this time. You were creeping outside your science classroom, nothing on your desk yet.

You decided to walk to your locker because it was close enough for you to keep an eye on the door.

No one came in or out, when the bell rang and you sat down, nothing was there.
