Xiomara
Where did everything go wrong?
That's what I have been asking myself every now and then, but I forgot a simple answer to that baffling question. The moment I arrive here as Xiomara is when everything went wrong.
No matter how hard I try to follow the storyline I wrote, there is no guarantee that everything will fall back to its place. This only means I could no longer predict nor prevent anything from happening.
Everything was just going smooth back then, it only changed after what happened at the queen's marriage meeting. I wished I never said anything back then, but I let my emotions get the best of me.
"What will be your answer, your highness?" I leaned my back on my throne as I sit firmly looking at the diplomats in front of me.
It's been three days ever since I rush in the palace of Westeria to apologize to the queen and found out the Archons sent a marriage proposal to me instead of her. When I returned home, Xiovenn was worried sick of me.
He was so mad at the residence's servants that blood would've been shed if I didn't return in one piece. He'd definitely become a monster for the safety of his sister.
"His Highness, the Flamma Archon was patiently waiting for your answer." Victor, the Ashfell diplomat respectfully said as he bowed his head.
I bit my lower lip as I look at the three diplomats coming from the different regions of Westeria. They represent their own region, a peacemaker, an ambassador in the modern world. They have come to seek for my answer after not replying for the marriage proposals sent by their masters for three days.
"I have not decided yet." I smiled awkwardly.
The truth is, Xiovenn burned all their marriage proposals. I could've done it as well, but when he knew about it, he immediately shred it into ashes. Knowing his character, he must've no intention on letting me marry and unqualified man in his eyes. He trusts no one when it comes to his only family, Xiomara.
"I would also like to deliver a message from His Highness, the Boreas Archon."
"His Highness would like to invite you for a tea two days from now. I will be the one to escort you personally to the Region of Naverside, your ladyship."
If I'm not mistaken, he's Gale Leufort, the Naverside Diplomat. He is the most trusted aid of the Boreas Archon. He was only a side character, I had no idea I would actually meet him this way.
"With this being said, the Fulgar Archon also wanted a meeting with you, your ladyship." My eyes landed on the Ravenburgh's Diplomat, Elliot.
"The Flamma Archon would also be delighted to-"
Victor never had the chance to finish his words when the door opened. A man with a silver white hair and cold electric blue eyes entered the room.
They gasped.
"Y-your Highness!" They exclaimed in unison.
I stood up from my seat when I noticed how Xiovenn would look at them with murder intent. His eyes were emotionless and fierce. His electric blue eyes were electrifying and deadly. One look and he could freeze you to your death.
