DESCRIPTION

on the twelfth hour of the first day of October 1989, forty-three women around the world gave birth. this was unusual only in the fact that none of these women had been pregnant when the day first began.

on the twelfth hour of the first day of October 1989, donna king suddenly dropped dead.

EXTENDED SUMMARY

even when she was alive, nobody understood donna king, not really. everywhere she went, whispered rumors would clip at her heels. 

i hear she's a witch. 

she probably made a deal with the devil.

you stay away from that girl. she'll put a curse on you.

maybe the rumors were true, maybe they weren't. that didn't really matter. what mattered was that they were right about one thing: there was something off about the girl. something wrong with her.

people she didn't like would mysteriously fall ill, or become very injured. good fortune came to the few friends she had. cats would come up to her unprompted and begin rubbing themselves against her legs. mirrors would crack when she walked by. she looked perfect all the time, unnervingly so.

donna never knew why she had been bestowed with such a curse. but when she is suddenly pulled from the afterlife by a drug-addicted medium, she may finally get the answers she's been looking for

- inspired by the song "the season of the witch"

- again, sorry the extended summary sucks bootyhole :/

- when she was alive, donna was a complete pariah because of her magic

- even donna doesn't know where her magic came from, or even what it is or how to use it in any way. supernatural stuff just sort of happens around her

- her death is somehow connected to why the women gave birth on that day, you can come up with the explanation why (make it some big twist)

- she's super shy and closed off and has really awful social skills when klaus first meets her, but eventually she opens up and they become really good friends

- she has this super sweet, timid demeanor that completely catches klaus and the others off guard when they meet her

- maybe you could do some flashbacks to when she was alive

- like i could imagine good ol' reggie hargreeves paying her a visit when he hears whispers of a mysterious magic woman and like scares the living shit out of her

- also i'm not really sure what season would be best to introduce her in, so that's up to y'all! i imagine it would most likely be the third season after klaus and the rest of the gang decide they want to investigate the mystery of their moms and maybe reggie talks about a magic woman that he met and klaus finds a newspaper article about her sudden death on the same day or something like that idk

- but yeah, they basically just want to figure out why she died and what she has to do with the spontaneous births
