Greta woke up to the sound of Lucky Charm mewing in her face.

"Ugh, that was such a good dream," she grumbled. "Why did it have to end?" She rubbed her eyes and slowly got out of bed. She then looked around and saw that she was the only one in the girl's dorm. "Where is everyone?"

Greta got dressed and dragged herself down to the common room area. Nobody was there. "Um, ok... this is starting to get weird."

She stumbled down the hallways of the school until she reached the Great Hall. All the students were there, eating their meals in silence. Greta saw her friends and sat by them.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Hermione asked her. Harry looked down in grief, while Ron had his arm wrapped around Harry's shoulder.

"Not that good," Greta replied honestly. She picked at her food with her fork.

"You should probably eat something," Hermione advised.

"Not hungry," Greta said bluntly. She didn't dare to meet Hermione's eyes. "Are we gonna have class today?"

"Yeah," Ron answered. "The teachers aren't gonna let us take it easy despite what happened last night."

Greta nodded. She glanced at Harry and noticed that he was feeling on edge. She wasn't surprised. After all, he witnessed Cedric's death in person. This must've been extremely hard on him, too.

"You know, there's going to be a memorial service for Cedric tomorrow tonight," Hermione said carefully. "Are you going to go?"

Greta nodded. "Sure," she mumbled. "Anything for him."

After Potions class, Draco passed Greta a note and left the dungeon. Greta opened the note and it said:

Meet me at the astronomy tower at 7 pm tonight. I'll be waiting!

-Draco

Greta's eyes widened a bit as she read the note. She felt extremely curious, but decided not to question it. She would find out what he wanted later. She quickly shoved the note in her pocket and walked on over to get next class.

One thing was for certain: Professor Moody was a total nut job. He lectured on the weirdest things and left everyone confused and a bit concerned for his well-being. While everyone else shuddered during Professor Moody's lecture on giant spiders, Greta just listened to it with no interest. In fact, she was just feeling too dull and depressed to pay attention in any of her classes. All the professors noticed her unusual behavior, and some of them had even asked her about it, but she dismissed her feelings to the situation.

It was 6:55 pm and Greta was heading up to the astronomy tower carefully. She didn't want to get caught by anyone at this hour. As she slowly crept up the staircase, she cautiously looked around to make sure that nobody followed her. Then, she reached the top.

"Hey, I'm so glad you could make it," Draco greeted. He walked up to Greta, his hand behind his back. "I got a small surprise for you."

He pulled out his wand and whispered a spell that Greta had never heard before. When Draco had finished, hundreds of small, blue butterflies fluttered out of Draco's wand and made the astronomy tower glow with an unnatural light. The sight was beautiful and Greta's jaw dropped a little bit. She held her hand out and a butterfly landed on her hand gracefully, then left a minute later.

"It's beautiful, Draco," Greta gasped. "Thank you!"

"I'm glad you like it," Draco beamed. His smile faded and he embraced Greta tightly. "Please cheer up," he pleaded. "I can't stand to see you like this!" He squeezed her a bit tighter. "I want you to smile again."

The next moment was spent in silence. Greta was speechless, but finally found the right words to say.

"I understand, Draco. I'll always be sad about Cedric's death, but I'll try to smile for him," she promised. "I'll smile for my friends and for you, too." She placed her hands on Draco's back and began to rub it out of comfort. The blue butterflies started to hang around Greta and Draco. Some of them even landed on the two. Greta looked up at the butterflies again. "They sure are pretty. How did you make them?"

"I noticed that spell in a library book during winter break," Draco explained. "I've been practicing it for quite a while."

"That's amazing!" Greta gushed. "You've gotta teach me sometime."

"Sure," Draco chuckled. Greta still couldn't help but feel terrible. She had been so focused on herself that she made her friends worry.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Draco asked.

"I know that Cedric just died, but I can't help but feel bad that I made my friends and professors worry about me," Greta confessed. "Heck, I bet Cho Chang feels even worse than I do about this whole thing. She was his girlfriend! Harry witnessed his death in person. His parents have to deal with the fact that their son died. I've been grieving all because I had a silly crush on him."

"There's someone l love too," Draco admitted. "It's a girl I know I can never be with. We live very different lives, but, if I were to lose her, I don't know what I would do. I think you have a reasonable excuse for grieving. Diggory was your friend after all."

"You're right, Draco. Thank you," Greta smiled. "I hope the girl you love loves you back. She seems like the right one for you."

Draco's pale face went red. "Yeah, I hope so, too. Thanks."

"Let's head back to our dorms, ok?" Greta suggested. "I'm getting really paranoid thinking that Dumbledore's gonna sneak up behind us or something."

"Good idea! Let's go," Draco agreed.

As the two went their separate ways, Greta couldn't help but feel her heart beating quicker than before.

What is this? I can't be falling for Draco, can I?

Greta had found herself feeling nervous whenever she was around Draco. She couldn't figure out why at first, but, over time, knew that it was because she liked Draco.

One day, they hung out along the outskirts of Hogwarts, just outside the Forbidden Forest.

"Have you ever wondered what your future would be like?' Draco asked out of nowhere.

"Not really," Greta answered honestly. She could feel her right leg bouncing up and down uncontrollably and she rubbed her right hand along her left arm. "I guess I've just thought about having a family and writing stories in my spare time. Why?"

"I-I'm not too sure myself, but I've just been thinking about my future constantly," Draco admitted. He glanced at Greta and noticed her nervous habits. "Are you feeling alright?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Greta asked.

"Your leg is bouncing," Draco observed. "You tend to do that when you're feeling scared or nervous."

"O-oh, that! It's nothing, really. I've just been nervous about finals," Greta lied.

Draco smiled with an amused look on his face. "Alright, I believe you."

"Y-you do?"

Draco brought his face closer to Greta's, making her blush bright red. They sat like that in silence for a quick moment, before Draco started to laugh.

"I was just making sure that you weren't lying. I'm sorry," Draco joked.

"It's fine," Greta chuckled.

"You wanna head back to the school?"

"Yeah, let's go."
