"I can't believe it." Greta's mouth hung open. "Voldemort is dead."

Everyone else was slowly processing what had just happened and they started to talk amongst themselves quietly.

"HE'S DEAD!" Greta shouted. Despite her wide and excited smile, continuous tears poured down the sides of her face like waterfalls.

"Are you ok?" Draco asked frantically. "A-are you hurt?"

"No, no, I'm sorry. I'm just so happy," Greta sobbed. "You don't have to be scared anymore. It's all over and we can be safe."

Draco laughed at her adorableness and made sure to hug her tight. He couldn't help but cry too. Voldemort's death had a strong impact on everyone, and they were glad that he was finally gone for good.

"I'm glad you're ok," Draco managed to say.

"I'm glad we both survived this," Greta admitted. "I thought that this war would be the end of our lives."

"It sure will."

Lucius Malfoy had spoken. He held his wand out aggressively, panting and hissing under his breath.

"Draco, after what you did today, there is no way that you or your precious little girlfriend will end up leaving this campus alive!"

Draco held Greta closer to his chest. "You can't hurt us, Dad. I won't--"

"YOU WON'T 'WHAT'?!" Lucius snapped. "YOU DON'T HAVE AS MUCH POWER AS I DO! I CAN EASILY KILL YOU BOTH!"

"Lucius, stop please!" Narcissa begged. "What did Draco do wrong?"

"He's dating a Gryffindor half-blood!" Lucius snarled. "He also committed treason against the Dark Lord. Don't you think that's enough for punishment?!"

"I won't allow you to hurt our son, Lucius," Narcissa said firmly. "He is just a boy."

"I don't care."

With that, Harry stepped in and used a spell to petrify Lucius. "Don't you dare do anything to Greta. Is that clear?"

"Thank you, Harry," Greta smiled.

Harry only nodded in return. The dementors took Lucius away to Azkaban, and Draco was now free to go home with his mother.

"Will I be seeing you again?" Greta wondered.

Draco caressed her face with a gentle hand. "You will. I promise."

He brought her into a long and passionate kiss, which filled Greta with butterflies despite being kissed by him before. It had just been so long.

"I love you so much," Greta whispered.

"I love you too, Princess."

With that, Draco and his mother left the Hogwarts campus.

"Are you ready to be back in school?" Hermione asked Greta.

"Yeah," she replied. "I'm mostly excited to see Draco again."

Headmaster McGonagall had offered the Hogwarts students to repeat the past year of school, due to the war that had occurred the year before. Being eighteen years old, Greta felt a little strange about going to school as an adult, but she knew it would be worth it. Besides, Draco had decided to retake the year as well, and she knew that it was going to be loads of fun.

"It's strange that you've been dating since fifth year," Hermione stated. "Are you going to get married?"

Greta blushed deeply. "Married?! We're still a little young for that, don't you think?"
