The hellfire group was a real laugh, I felt safe with them for some reason. Eddie was hilarious, he stood up on the table saying what was killing the kids was basketball, this kid Jason I think got confrontational and Eddie just made a face at him.
The bell for next lesson rang but Eddie told me to come outside with him so I did.

"So y/n, Henderson told me some information about you, that you've just moved here and you play D&D and your a nerd. Is it true?" He looks at me all serious and I nod.
"Fantastic, also next class we have is actually together but your shaking well your hands are shaking and I know that shake." He hands me a joint, I look at him surprised.
"H-how did you know?"
He smirks "one, I'm a stoner, two, just a hunch."
I laugh, "well a bloody good hunch I'll give you that! But just don't tell Dustin, the caseworker told his mom I'd stopped and i wouldn't brainwash her son." The words slip out before i can filter them shit I think to myself now I'm going to have to tell this guy why CPS were involved and shit.

Eddie looks at me, I can't read his eyes. "Caseworker as in CPS? And don't worry I won't tell Henderson, and also," he looks at me carefully "you don't need to tell me why CPS are involved unless you want too."
I look at him surprised, usually people are scared away, or nosy instead, he understood...

After we finished smoking we went to our next class, we took the two seats together and just sat in eachothers company.

After school we had the D&D campaign, everyone but me and Dustin were dead Eddie said there was no shame in running but I didn't want to run. I shook the dice and rolled, everything seemed to guy in slow mo as the dice rolled and landed on the final number. A NAT 20!!!
Everyone cheered including Eddie "that's why we play!" He exclaimed we all high fived and cheered.
Eddie grinned at me and I smiled back.

After hellfire, Dustin and Mike rode home and I started walking untill someone grabbed me, it was someone I didn't recognize all I knew was they clearly played basketball, they tripped me and pinned me and I straight away knew what this guy had in mind, I tried to fight against him but his hand started to touch me in places I didn't want to be touched not like this, not again. This guy grinned evilly and twisted my nipple I tried to scream but his hand gripped my throat. "I don't know who the fuck you are freak but clearly your a fucking slut!" The guy slapped me hard and I yelped, I felt the flashbacks coming and I started hyperventilating I heard yelling and the weight lifted, I curled up in a ball knees to my chest and tried to focus trying to black everything out I heard fighting but I couldn't fight the panic attack, I then felt a hand touch me and I flinched
"Hey hey, it's me Eddie, it's ok, shit I don't know what to do..." I looked up through bleary eyed to see Eddie looking at me, he had a split lip but he was otherwise ok.
"Y/n I'm going to need you to let me pick you up ok? I'll carry you to my van."

I let go of my knees and felt Eddie lift me up and let him carry me to his van, he opened the back and sat me in there, wrapped a blanket around me and passed me a flask.
"Uh it's got whiskey in it, you need something strong..."

I took a swig, I felt myself start to shake less and felt Eddie sit next to me.

"I got there in time before he...? Right?"
Eddie asked quietly.
I nodded, I couldn't speak I was still mute. It's happened to me before yet I still have the same response.

Eddie looked at me and looked down realizing. "I don't know you much but from your reaction you've been in that situation before...?"

I nodded, "just...last time no one saved me." I let out a sob. "I was 13, and it was a stranger, I-i..." Eddie shushed me and hugged me.
"Hey, hey it's ok your safe. I have Dustin's mom's number at my trailer, do you want me to take you there?"

I shook my head still crying, "i want to stay with you..."
Eddie nodded, "I understand, I'll call her still to let her know your safe. Come on let's get you in the passenger seat."

Eddie kept giving me side looks on the way to his, clearly concerned, I'd stopped crying out loud but it was clear I was still scared.
Eddie nudged me, passing me a joint. "We're nearly at mine now ok?"

I nod.
